Ha sorry for being a jabroni...not my intention. I know it's a huge claim to say Nick will win at this point. And I'm not trying to be super serious about it. I'm just stoked for the comp. like everyone else and I would love to see Nick take it. He put in a lot of hard work this season and put together an awesome edit...I probably should have waited a few rounds to make a claim like that, I just got pretty pumped after seeing his edit. Haha

There are some heavy hitters, but i'm sticking with McFuckinNutt FTW. His POV edit https://vimeo.com/65936874 is what convinced me even before seeing the real deal. Remember the top 18 vote getters plus 3 wild card picks will vote for the winner via a ranking system. I think the real winner will be TGR because they got some really solid footage out of this (and of course whoever takes home the cheddar!)

Oh, and the best women segment ever is a real contender...

Don't count out Jordan Clarke, another whistler local, takes jumps and cliffs pretty fucking far past what most people would consider to be 'deep'. Also best under-flips in the game ahaha!

Not at all. He's a what I call a heavy hitter. The film/edit quality of that one is prolly the best. He's got a shot at the most public votes with NS sway, but with all the athletes voting (not production crew) for final placement I don't see him winning. That's just my opinion.

This comp definitely brought out the best of many crews. And apparently Scotty Titterington was the most busy out of anyone this winter... he's credited in about 5 quality edits.

focus seemed to be more on super trippy snow visuals than skiing, but he's a got a couple smooth action shots. It's unique and I'm sure he's proud of the edit.

Tom is making a solo project that im sure his sponsors have put up more then 100g's for. It would be dumb for him to release footage early.

I have also never really seen anyone seriously call Tom a sellout.

I think ski skill matters more than film here because the athletes will be the ones deciding the victor, not interwebz film critics.
