diving board/ open gyms/ jumping off cliffs and bridges into water. There's always jumping off stuff onto solid earth, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I dont know ive tried like 5 front flips on ground and only landed one. If you can do it on skis you can prob do it on ground depending on your hops

a local gym membership....

i've got a year long membership to one of the best gyms around, 2 big professional inground tramps, a couple more mobile tramps, 2 foampits, a shitload of other gymstuff and all that costs me like 70$/year ....

Damn. The place I usually go to costs $8-10 depending on the night and there's no way of getting a membership.

aren't there gymclubs?
i don't really have a membership of the gym itself, but from a gymclub that has a contract with the gym, so i get to jump whenever i want :)

if you're an outsider it's indeed like 10$/session ....

Go to open gym sessions at gymnastics places. Also, my brother and I have heard that some YMCA's have flatbeads. You can also get a decently good tramp from Walmart for under 1k.

I dont have a tramp i just jump on friends and people I know. Diving boards or just backflip and shit off of everything at the beach.

what do you mean by memberships?

cuz the ones by me, you have to enroll in some class like "tumbling 101" or like "gymnast basics", do you just get to go there and do whatever you want?

but a learn to tumble kinda thing would be helpful. it's so much fun and a great way to impress people if you can bust out a roundoff handspring backtuck

Go poach random trampolines! jk haha but I learned most of what I can do on skis on a divingboard. It feels a lot more natural bringing tricks from divingboard to skis when you are already used to the forward momentum.

well, i got somewhat lucky in that department, my friend is a pretty good gymnast and freeskier and he heard that a lot of his freeski/snowboard friends wanted to get into tramp training so he asked the chairman of the club if he could give a 'freestyle training' which basically is just free jumping/doing what you want ...
it was a pretty big succes, we're now with over 20ppl i think and at least 10 on each training so now we've asked the janitor of the gym if we could get an extra training moment and he said he'd fix it for us, so what i'm really trying to make as a point here is that you should go talk with your local gym/gymclub, maybe go with a few friends and see what they can offer you....
