oh for sure, when im feeling good ill usually pop on born to die, or some wu-tang or something. But if i dont feel like actually listening to the rhymes ill listen to MGK or Mac Miller or something, its up beat and defiantly doesn't take a lot of effort to listen to.

yeah beats are mostly where its at for me. i definitely dig Dr. Dre for his beats. His lyrics are weak but G-funk has a special place in my heart.

The stupidity in this comment is seeping through my computer screen.. You SUCK at arguing and comebacks all together. Pay attention more in social environments and learn to interact with other human beings. I don't understand. Who is/are this MGK you all speak of? And how is OF and Mac Miller mentioned on a list like this?

As for myself, I can't really say if an came out in 2011 or 2012, so I'm just going to list stuff that are somewhat recent.


1. The Roots - undun 10/10
2. Common - The Dreamer/The Believer 9/10 The Believer
3. Trainspotters - Dirty North 8/10 Can't Stop
4. Atmosphere - The Family Sign 8/10 The Last To Say

I can't really think of more than that. I don't really listen to entire albums that often, and if I do, they're usually older.

I have super high hopes! Lupe is amazing! Great lyrics, he's trying a little too hard to be a political figure for being part of the 1% that he hates so much though. Still I can't wait! Friend of the People was amazing.
