i'll be honest with you, the stoke level after i slid my first rail successfully has gone unmatched to this day. i'm betting it'll be exceeded once i land my first backie though.

but still, the feeling of pow laps with homies on a whiteout day, or hot laps in the park with homies on a bluebird day..... nothings better.

One day this winter their was only like an inch of snow in the valley, and up at the base. So it discouraged people from skiing that day. Load the lift when it opens with no lift line. Get to the top of the lower lift with suddenly 7 inches of snow at the top. Thinking yeah this is sweet. Then load the summit lifts to find a foot of fresh snow to myself because their was absolutely no one there. The moment I realized I was almost the only person their was a good one.

probably this year at Zinal in switserland, misjudged a cliffdrop, i went way too fast and even overshot a second cliff behind it, as soon as i aired i felt that i was going to go much to deep but at the same time i was tucked and stable in the air so i just hucked it and stomped the shit out of it, i actually landed super clean, no backslap at all and skied off like a boss!

A friend of mine came off behind me and did the exact same thing but didn't land as clean, he tomahawked a couple of times and had a complete yardsale :)
I know he's a much better skier than me so i felt really good about how clean i stomped it :)

I got to ski a foot of fresh in switzerland a few months back, it was the first time ever i got to ski actual powder, and i even had my cousins JJ's with me. And It was powder all the way to the village too. I'd say it was about 6000-8000ft vertical. It was epic, i had to have brakes like every few hunderd meters, i was so exhausted but at the same time trying to hurry to the gondola to do it again.

Oh and landing a front swup front 4 out, i cheered all the way down the rest of the hill, lol.

as of last season it was when we had an epic powday on the 24th of february. best pow day ive ever experienced bar none.

Mid december 2011 was the time where powder was the best for me. Stomped a huge backflip on one of those backcountry jumps, took me several hours to build but what a feeling...

I jumped a 15 foot cliff into pow and double ejected on impact into powder. My buddies saw it. We all just started laughing. I was really happy.

trying my first flip / invert, scared as fuck and actually landing it. My first misty! =D Greatest feeling ever.. When you try something you are fucking frightened about.. And succeed. Felt like i could do anything. Led to learning rodeos, mistys and 5's clean.

learning lincolns off a 4 ft hip
my first underflip which was before my first back
my first backflip because all my friends were around so we all got juiced on it and it was last run of the night
maybe my 3rd backflip couldn't have been a smoother landing. i felt the tips of my skis gently press into the landing so i landed straight up like a thug with no shock at all.

the first 360. Its the point where you realize that you have the ability to progress and such. Also, skiing 4 foot fresh off Tiger Tail at Snowbird. best days ever!
