its 38 bucks. thats been confirmed.
but - as to whether its worth it, cause of the mobile sector and its constant evolve, is anyones guess.....

I know we cannot buy the IPO. But I more or less just meant the stock in general. I have no idea what to expect from this stock. It could either fly up or tank after the first few hours.

Then again I know absolutely nothing.

Unless you are a big name trader you can't get in at the IPO price of $38. It is likely to push up to the $70-80 range in trading sometime later today.

In the short term I think it's a good buy. Speculation and buzz alone will likely drive the price I imagine past the $100 and probably $200 rather quickly.

However, in the long term it's not going to be worth it. Per user revenue isn't great and will need to be improved.

I agree with the above poster, it will rise in the short term, but I dont see a long term benefit of them

Needless to say I bought 500 shares on the virtual market game >:D

Looks like it went to everyone at $43? and now its already down to $40? This is gonna be fun to watch.

I know a guy whos friend is putting $750,000, ALL of his life savings, into facebook for the day. Trying to buy at the low and sell at the high.

the holding is good for an initial short term investment. the price will steadily rise due to the hype and the impulse purchases. so sell when you see a profit that you can live with. it will plateau, and i can see it falling. internet bubble round 2 this looks like.

Correction, the IPO price was $38, it opened trading at $42.05, now it's down to $38.61

We'll see where this ends up by close

I dont know honestly. My friend never brought it up probably because the guy never wants to talk about it ever again. Unless it got in real early and got out when it was at like 38.

I'm sure he didnt. And Im sure hell be working till the day he dies for that dumb decision.
