flip the pole upside down and hold it under the baskets. you're arm should make a 90* angle. if not, cut enough (or an inch or so more for park) to form that angle. i usually go about 1.5inches shorter then a perfect 90*.
the best length if your skiing park is hip height...not top of your hip but where your pants hang..if you dont sag them like...mid hip around 30 - 35 inches...you dont want them even close to 90 degrees because then they get in your way..mess around with it in the 30 to 35 inch area...alway cut big so if they feel to big you can cut them down..start at 35 max and go from there
pretty much same here, i was about 5'7 when i got my poles at 44", now i'm 5'9 and i had them cut down to 40 (i think) and they're pretty good now. they don't really get in the way and yet i can still use them to move. which is the point of poles.
