I see the second topic way more. I fucking hate it.

Its people who are exploiting the misfortune of others so they can get some likes on Facebook and distract themselves from their mundane and boring lives. No one who posts those pictures cares about those people, and no one who likes the photos cares about the underprivileged either. They just think it will look good on their wall so their disgusting peasant minded friends won't think that their a completely soulless and vapid person.
