Dr NS and how to invest $1000

so i'm going to sorta have two ideas in one thread, don't feel they each desevre their own thread.

here's my Dr NS
so back in january, i was being stupid and over shot a 45 footer really bad. i landed almost completely at the bottom of the already bad landing. for january through march, i had minor pains in my right knee when i bent it. through april, the pain went away so i figured it healed. this past sunday, i was leaning forward to get off a boat, i was sitting down. i got a horrible pain in my knee, so i straightened it out quickly, and was rewarded with a 'pop'. the pain went away in an hour, but now those minor little bending pains are back. im not sure if i got a charlie horse or popped it out of socket, or what i did on the boat. any ideas?

second thought.
i have $1000 right now. i was wondering if there was any way i could increase that by investing, either in stocks, bonds, or gold. im not looking for long term things, though. do you really think it would be worth it? or should i just go ahead and buy something like a macbook?

fuck stocks. Gold and silver bullion FTW

Depends on how long term too. Not going to see much withing a month or anything. Although silver has a better chance of spiking up in short term.

If you aren't looking for anything more than a year don't bother investing really.

You could always invest in drugs, sell drugs and make money and more drugs = ballin

Investment's main purpose is to put your money somewhere so that the rate of inflation doesnt eat it up.

Therefore its meant more as a long term plan, not really something to get rich quick off of. You can expect about 80 dollars return on your 1k in a year... But dont let that discourage you. Investing it is a great idea, and if you add whatever savings you have to your plan you'll retire a rich man

golds a bubble its going to go down within the next 9 months considerably imo, getinto a gold eft thats shorts either gold itself or gold mining companies, in the long run gold will do very well when the euro and dollar eventually crash, may is a good time to buy most people sell off in may and play all summer, gmcr droped 40% last week i got in that after the sell off and it went up 4-7 % today last time i checked, i guess it has another 10-15 more it will increase soon due to its patents and stuff, you could play the huge sell off in apple against its q2 earning buy now sell right aftrr q2 earning are reported depending on sale and when they releave the 5... and my alltime favorite check out uvxy a fund that shorts and doubles the s%p, basically when the market goes down you do will, for every 100pts the dow goes down uvxy increases by 10%. investing isnt easy with 10 you wont make much in the short term to cover your trading costs but at the same time its funn and there isnt much to lose. trading isnt easy uou need to research each company for quite some time. also.check out ddd my current bull favorate, big sell off as of.late closed around 28 today, i got i. at 17 and sold at around 25, im kicking my self for it if the market goes down tomorrow im going to get back in, tnk is also a shipping companny that weathered the shipping bubble and has even made some recent expansions, you could even play facebook when it drops friday and once you could get your hands on it, sorry for the moble ns rant, good luck with the knee guy...also 80$ on a g a year, ha 8 percent isnt bad, i always shoot for 25-33 personally buy that has failed misriable due to my investing anxiety ha

I think stocks are a great buy right now. If you have an etrade account go to the stock screener and search for a company with all positives from the rating agencies. This tactic has made me bank in the market. I bought 35 shares of this company called Key Tronix (KTCC) at about 4 bucks and it is now at about 12 bucks. Also you can look into companies with a share price near a $1 with positive ratings... I bought 150 Sirius XM radio (SIRI) at 23 cents and now it is around $2... made bank which I used to buy some new skis. And if you are going to invest make sure you look at the companies financials and dividends paid and if the stock is overbought or over sold. note: ( dividends are not that important depending on the type of investor.) IMO the economy is looking up!

On the real for real, here is a pretty safe, and high return way to invest that money.

Find a legit hookup. You live in ohio, so you should be able to find someone with good tree who could hook it up at $300/zip. (Fuck east coast)
Talk to some kids at school who you know sell or who would want to sell, and start fronting them half Os for $200. Make sure they give you good collateral.
If you keep your fronting to about 4 people or less, your risk of getting caught is extremely minimal, and only pick up right before you front them, to avoid having anything on you. I would say don't even buy a scale for yourself, and just make your dude man weigh it in front of you.
Before you know it, you will be making $200 a week, by doing absolutely nothing, and taking only a very small risk.

this, same thing happened to my brother you should probably see a doctor so u can get ur surgery and be able to ski next season :) as for ur money save it for next season and buy skis or have an awesome summer with hookers and blow

yeah investing is really interesting, I'm trying to go to school for it. I got a 350% return on G.E stocks over 4q's, it was all dumb luck though haha

also idk whats wrong with your knee, but mine is sorta the same, doesn't hurt when I bend it but hurts when I run. And every morning when I wake up, I like straighten out my leg really fast and there is a loud pop, and I can also do it if I'm sitting somewhere for a few hours. It feels good when I pop it.

oh and also about meniscus surgery.. if you are at all active, get the thing taken out (or at least the part that is tore), DO NOT try to repair it.. repairing it is one of the most painful things ever and usually it doesnt last worth of shit. It takes months to get back from and your flexibility will be gone. If you just get it removed then you will be back in a week doing whatever you want.

You can get a a half O of molly for about 750.  Selling it in .2's for 20 bucks a pop you would make a profit of around 700 bucks

I live in PA, and i don't know a single person who pays less than 280 a zip. I pay $300, and gotta make a 20 minute drive for that!! And you gotta mark those prices up. Everyone in my area who gets fronted pays 180-200 half. But i live in a rich suburban neighborhood, and there isn't a man in town who sells zips less than 380.
