Oh im not trying to take away from how badass the rail is, its fucking huge. I just think that throwing yourself into a dirty puddle/ruining skis that your sponsor was nice enough to give you makes you look like an idiot.

To add to all the things you missed, it was the fifth time they setted up to rail to hit it. Cam is known to get insanely angry but even myself I get to a point where I want to rip the rail out of the ground when I can't clear it after a bunch of tries. I can't imagine after 5 days.

no your meter is not off, two people have hit that rail. first snowboarder was not ready to hit anything that big and ended up dying on the rail. It was knobbed for a long time, knobs were removed and cam hit it 5 different times and got it on the last.

Yes a boarder did die. The security guard in the video I posted mention it. I believe he hit his head without an helmet.

His skis were pretty much broken. A lot of people who do urban play by the rule if what you ride is still in tact you have to hit the rail. So you gotta break your skis or keep hitting the rail

Urban is so frustrating and after 5 days on the same rail, I can't even imagine. I get frustrated enough I want to leave a rail after an hour if I still haven't gotten a shot, I don't think I could last 5 days.
Everyone saying it was stupid for him to wreck his skis, you think riding down cheese graders for 5 days is any better for them? And so what if he jumped in a puddle? Who are any of you to say how someone should relieve stress? Yeah opinions are fine an dandy and all, but until your put into his shoes, nobody on this site can really know how Cam was feeling and what inclined him to take the actions he did.

i'll get right to it, superior elder. thank you for your motivation! but for real, one can take on a challenge, and work extremely hard to accomplish it without acting like a five year old who was just denied a new toy by their mommy. I am not questioning his work ethic... just his self-control, and outlook on things.

Hates on Dumont when he is pissed for losing,

Supports Cam when he is even more pissed for not getting an urban rail. NS logic

Not saying it was bad he got pissed (I would get pissed too) but when most of you hate on other athletes, like Dumont, for getting upset after working hard to win a competition and getting up set for doing poorly it seems strange to support him so much....

He went to the location 5 seperate times and either got kicked out or broke something. So 2 times getting kicked out, 1 breaking his binding, 1 breaking his ski, 1 getting the rail.

Idk how many times/season, but yea, 5 seperate occasions.

I think we have probly all done some pretty stupid shit while we were super mad. I have multiple friends who have broken their hands punching shit while pissed off (stop signs , brick walls, bbqs ). I have seen people throw shit, break shit, scream, pull their hair out.....

The puddle thing is new , and ya it looks fucking retarted, but it really shows how intense and frustrating that shit can get , and frankly I cant blame him at all cause ive done some pretty dumb stuff over the years as well.
