Feeling like shit after drinking

Alright so starting in january I've been drinking recreationally on weekends.  Last night I made the stupid decision of drinking a few beers.  I wake up this morning, and I felt like SHIT.  I'm talkin headache, stomach ache, and I was dehydrated.  Dont think im going to be drinking again anytime soon.  Anyone else have an experience like this?

no shit? you get a hangover after drinking? that's so fuckin' weird. you know what causes most hangovers? (besides the obvious alcohol) the reason you feel so shitty is because you are dehydrated....causes the headaches, etc. I try and slam a bunch of water before I pass out at night after a bender and drink a few more glasses throughout the night when i occasionally wake up. works like a charm.

EVERYONE go to your local drug store and buy GASTROLYTE hydration salts (probably other brands out there too). I drink 1 packet with water before bed and never have a hangover, it's like super powered Gatorade

I just stay up an extra hour when I drink heavily, utilizing that time to drink a nalgene's worth of water! I haven't had a hangover just under 3 years. That should tell you all you need to know lol

lol i remember the first time i felt sick the morning after drinking. was confused as fuck, then felt retarded when somebody had to remind me that drinking causes hangovers.


drink a few glasses of water before bed next time, it makes all the difference

empty stomach. i get the same thing if i drink all night and just go to bed. have a giant ass dinner or at least some food as a snack in the evening. and then chug a quart of water before you crash. you'll feel bloated and full, and probably have to piss like mad in the morning, but it beats the hell out of having that heaving sickness because you're on an empty stomach, dehydrated, and the alcohol is just rotting inside you.

works for me, any way, unless i get completely shittered in which case nothing can help..

berroca (or dissolvable vit c tablets) + a pint of water for every 3/4 pints of 4/4.5%. the berroca helps you process alcohol 25% faster, also good if you plan on driving anytime soon after.

my roommate was an army medic and has some iv's(SP?) and bags of saline(again SP?) so we just take those but there is a draw back some people will think you main line heroin.
