Skiers block

Hey,
This season was tough mentally on me for some reason. i have broken a few bones way to hard and they scar me. This season my bud broke his collar on a 3 he over rotated. Then i saw several other people crash super hard.

This caused me to be a giant pussy and never want to throw down. i could 3 and the occasional 5 but not any more. Even drops i used to think were easy scare me.

what should i do to get passed my mental block?

get some protection. ( back brace, impact shorts, knee brace)

know the feeling well, my first season racing bikes i came last at every race. i felt like it was impossible for me to do the big lines and stuff, and just let go of the brakes. same with skiing for a bit. (I've always been a bit scared of stuff like that) but i found it helps if you just focus on having fun and relax. i reckon the best way to progress is just to enjoy your time skiing and if you get hurt you get hurt. as long as your having fun it's okay.

Stop being a pussy haha, Not to be an asshole just you gotta go for it half the fun of skiing is scaring yourself. You gotta be confident when your skiing the only thing in your way is your mind.

I envy you. Every time I'be gotten a serious injury was because of some stupid little thing that I shouldn't have gotten hurt on or was someone else's fault (I.e. someone crashing into my back)

i procrastinate and put off trying new tricks until its time to leave. Then on the last run I know its now or never. Its worked so far
