So a friend just showed me this lecture. I admit when he told me what it was about I shrugged it off and ignorantly chose to not watch it at the time. Then I gave it a chance. I am truly mind blown. I strongly recommend you watch the entire thing when you have the time because the fundamental components of Lloyd Pye's theory make a shockingly large amount of sense. This has changed the way I see humans in the bigger picture and possibly reality.



Shitty Sparknotes: 1) humans are not in the natural flow of evolution and anthropologists try to cover this up with bs.2) There is NO suitable evolutionary connection between us and pre-humans. 3) Hominoids still exist on Earth in the inhospitable and dark dense areas of jungles and forests( we know them as yetis, sasquatches, Agogwe and Alma). Annunaki(aliens) came to Earth for gold to fix their atmosphere(gold is an excellent reflective material) and wanted slaves so they made a hybrid species with terrestrial primates and themselves( a lesser being than themselves ) through genetic engineering. Fuck there's too much information to even continue trying to explain this convincingly alone; basically watch the video and be mindfucked.

Even if the more outrageous ideas expressed in the lecture like the intervention theory are proved wrong or are too difficult to believe, his argument about humans NOT fitting into the natural transitions of life on Earth is unequivocal. Our existence on this Earth does not fit into Darwin's Evolutionary Theory.

Based on sparknotes, I agree that this is plausible. Seems weird how advanced people are over animals. Of course I wouldn't say this is ye most likely possibility, but it's nice to think about

Hmm I now realise how much of a stupid idea it was to post this in NSG. There's no need for me to keep this thread it'll just become more polluted with ignorance.

I'm obviously 11 not quite 12 by the way. Sorry you older cool kids didn't watch the vid by the way, thank fuck I never recommended the books.

Just because its an old lecture doesn't mean it's not valid. His site seems active in terms of new content/information.

And whoever mentioned that it was proven wrong by scientists; you're completely missing the point and clearly didn't give the video a chance because if you did you would not be disregarding it.

Personally the point that hit home in the lecture is the fact that we don't fit in. How can anyone NOT see that? It's pretty illogical to think that we just jumped from a "pre-human species" to what we are now. You'd need like 20-30 transitional changes iver a huge time period for it to be possible.

Actually i was thinking about this in my Earth Science class and i dont really understand the jump from reptiles in the cretaceous era to the jump to mammals and then first human was 100,000 years ago. Ah mindfuck

i definitely think that i am pretty open-minded. and i admit that i dont have 2 hours to watch that.

but there is difference between being open-minded and believing every horseshit. while there might be the one or the other interesting point in that video, the assumption that humans dont fit into the evolutionary sequence or whatever is horseshit. we are not something special. i always have to explain that to christians who cannot live without thinking that "we" are the most important thing in the world.

when i go to the zoo and see gorillas, chimpanzees and other provenly close relatives of "us", i dont think "OH MY FUCKING GOD, I AM SO FUCKING DIFFERENT, I AM AN ALIEN". i actually think the opposite and wonder how intelligent they are and if they have what we call "consciousness" and "feelings". it comes to the point that i think of them more as prisoners in a cell than as animals in a species-appropriate compound.

I completely see where you are coming from and I am not usually one to just believe anything that's shoved in my face with a pretty cover. However I can't find many flaws in the evolutionary challenge he puts forward. I can't believe I never realised how much of an expanse there is between us and our supposed predecessors. I don't want to go into the details because it's more or less explained in the early stages of the vid.

You know that fact that states we share 98% DNA with chimpanzees? Well that 2% counts for billion of DNA base pairs; there is great space for variation there, no? At the end of the day if you strip us down to a microscopic level most life is composed of the same ol' stuff. Fuck we share 50% DNA with squirrels... I'm not arguing that we are special creations, I am arguing that we are DIFFERENT and not in the loop. Nothing to do with that religious babble.

i do like his approach though.

it's like saying that because 2 things are similar, but not identical, they can't be related. Then taking that, and saying that there was a third, unknown, unprovable factor that had to have influenced it.

just because its a lecture doesnt mean its valid. by saying this you could walk up to anyone on the street and they could lecture you on a topic, and by showing pieces (or in this case, a PIECE) of evidence that could support their claim, you should believe it.

and the fact that he believes aliens came and created a hybrid species for slave work? come on dude.

Lol you could apply that same logic to any subject. And there are PIECES not a PIECE displayed in the video to show our disparity. The problem with the lecture is it's length so it's obviously going to be brushed off as bullshit by alot of people who don't want to/don't have the time to watch it fully because of the out-of-the-ordinary ideas surrounding it.

As I've said already my personal view is of how we don't fit into the scheme of things. The stuff about aliens is outrageous but some of it does strangely make sense..

I'll be honest I didn't watch the video and I'm not necessarily arguing against it but consider this:

3000 years ago humans were using sticks with little pieces of bronze attached to them to kill animals and each other. Now humans are sending satellites into deep space, designing phones that have the computing power more powerful than a desktop computer 5 years ago, and have gained the power to destroy our own planet. All that in just 3000 years.

If humans have been around for roughly, what did someone say, 100,000 years? Than it seems perfectly plausible that a few strands of DNA differing from neanderthals allowed us to stand up straight, start using tools and weapons, and begin our own form of language.

well ill tell you this. if you could prove to me, with evidence not cited by lloyd pye, that has not been refuted, then i will look into this, and consider your argument.

otherwise, don't try to jam some jokes "anthropological study" down my university educated throat, telling me that everything i know is wrong.

Not shoving anything down your throat, I'm displaying this to be seen or to be ignored; it's just a matter of interest chill out.

Everything You Know Is Wrong is the title of the lecture/book; that was probably a bad idea for the title of this thread it's not meant to be as provocative as it appears.

I'm not going to run around trying to find different pieces of evidence just to convince you I don't see why his evidence should be discounted; for example the different in our foreheads and jaws to hominoids.

I'm not good at explaining something that i'm not an expert on. Just watch the video if you're that against it, then if you share the same feelings about it after viewing then fair enough..

Yes but that's based on culturual, social and technological changes not physical characteristics. The change would have to be so astronomical.. it doesn't add up :/

I have actually email lloyd pye on the whole starchild subject and, he gave me a digital copy of his book on the starchild.  guy sometimes seems quite full of himself.  I have also heard about this theory of human like primates being bred into the ability to be made slaves for an alien race.  it does make sense but I never watched all of that video seemed like stuff I have already heard.

even better, mammals didn't ever come from reptiles. amphibians involved into amniotes, terrestrial animals that laid eggs. amniotes split into sauropsids and synapsids. though both looked more or less like reptiles, sauropsids went on to become the reptiles and birds that we think of today, and the synapsids, or mammal-like reptiles, evolved into mammals. All the reptile-like synapsids died our, so all we're left with is mammals. so, this probably makes it even more confusing for people that can't grasp evolution, but ya, humans didn't evolve from reptiles.

Ask yourself what's more likely; that aliens and humans interbred some time in the past and this is the only evidence we can find of it, or that a child in new mexico some time ago had hydrocephalus? Before you can declare something out of this world, you need to make sure it's not in it.


Pye reveals in his writings that he is clearly predisposed to believe it is an alien or alien hybrid (and who can blame him, because how fucking cool would that be), but I don't think the evidence is there.

Plus, this claim;
"There is NO suitable evolutionary connection between us and pre-humans"
is blatantly untrue. The evidence both from the fossil record and from the human genome project shows beyond a reasonable doubt that we share a common ancestor with modern apes.

I made it almost ten minutes, right until he discredited anthropologists in general. Like did he really suggest that an entire community of scientist and scholars are attempting to fudge scientific evidence, why in the fuck would people collectively do that lol.

I'm in the process of watching it (mostly for lack of anything better to do). He also repeated an old myth about how strong chimpanzees are. Myth says they are 5-8 times stronger than humans, but in reality they are about 2x stronger pound for pound than humans, which means they are just about as strong overall. Considering the different niches we occupy, that doesn't seem that remarkable to me.

It isn't hydrocephalus though :/ "Hydrocephaly indiscriminately expands the skull starting at the softest areas--the unfused sutures. The Starchild Skull's sutures were open and healthy at the time of death, meaning that if any internal pressure was present in the cranium it would have expanded first at the suture lines. But the expansion in the Starchild Skull, while symmetrical, is present only in the solid bone plates of the parietals. In fact, there is a pronounced dent at the sagittal suture--as impossible in a Hydrocephalic as it is to blow up a round balloon while leaving a dent down the middle. In addition, Hydrocephaly does not cause natural flattening of the occipital, shallowing and realignment of the eye sockets, compression of the bone, or any of the other abnormal features present in the Starchild Skull."

I really enjoy discussing this sort of stuff, it's so damn interesting.
