I don't care how corny it sounds....that shit right there IS skiing.
Nailed it on every level, perfectly captured the park skiing mentality (or the ideal mentaility...I know there are plenty with a whoooole other set of priorities) and the lack of conscious thought or self-awareness around skiing in the moment for no one other than yourself. That addiction to progressing (even if it's on a smaller scale than Giray, or you're (I'm) less talented) is relentless and there is no better feeling than stepping to something or trying something that a day, week, month, season ago seemed impossible.
Can't say enough good things about this, skiing was unreal too....style was silly good. Gave me the goosebumps or some shit.
Thinking on the whole I Hate NY extended crew and how unique and FUN all of their skiing is. And, all so damn distinct....just crazy that all of those guys have 100% different styles from one another, yet have the same mentality and fundamental approach. That represents park skiing to me, people coming together and having fun, collaborating, inspiring, pushing, yet remaining individuals and being stoked on other people's ideas.
