Little reel from the last few months

I had some shots I liked lying around that I never did anything with so decided to put it into a little reel. The editing process was pretty quick but any critiques you have on the shots, and the editing i guess, are really appreciated. Thanks!

good work, only things i can critique are i dont think the landscape shots were sharp enough and the basketball shots were way underexposed.

I was really impressed with the portrait/interview shots you had. Lighting and color on most of those shots was perfect.

i actually agree with every critique you have. after watching it a few times I'm def. not happy with it and plan on fixing some things before uploading it again for the final. The last timelapse is def. not good enough and the basektball shots are very underexposed.

works for a t3i too, i put mine in the gopro case all of the time.


nahh, i kid. but OP, a mi me gusta. i really liked the star timelapse with the house in the corner, that great composition, and i loved the lighting.

If any of you have any other critiques I'd love to hear them, I'm trying to get the new updated version up sometime this week, i'll post it in here after it's done.

So far the things I plan on changing
1. Make the shot with the guy taking the picture come in later and not drag on as long
2. For some of the interview shots rather than keep them long, put more/different interview shots that I have that I haven't used
3. Maybe take out the basketball shots at the beginning? (Anyone have any thoughts on this?)
4. Replace the last sunset timelapse with a better one

The time lapse of the stars was really sick! how long was your exposure? And it was all sick imo except the last shot. To me, a final shot should leave you with an imprint in your mind that really makes you go "wow." Although it was a nice sunset, you showed shots more deserving of an ending in that reel. No hate though because it was super sick! Just an abrupt ending

thanks man, and I completely agree with you 100% that last shot is awful. I'm actually working on fixing it up right now so expect a new version in the next few days! thanks guys
