Help with Touring/All-mountain ski

Looking for some opinions on a few different Touring/All-mountain set ups. Vitals for reference: 6'4 220lbs 3+ skier.

I'm Looking between the Line SFB, Atomic Blog and Nordica Patron.

They will be mounted with the MFD all-time system.

So basically I'm looking for a light, extremely playful ski, very surfy, easy to butter around and pop of features. Mostly I've been leaning towards the atomic blog, however I'm curious if I might find a 185 a bit short for me, as that is the largest size in the bacons and blog. which is where the patron comes in at a 193. Right now I'm riding 190 moment bibby's. I have skied Bentchetlers before and absolutely fell in love with them, they were snappy and quick, will the blog be similar? I also have a pair of nordic a Ace of spades which are also pretty nice.

If Anyone can provide some insight on this that would be very helpful, thank-you!

Forgot to mention this will also be a resort daily driver as well as for touring.

If you loved ben chetlers get them? If not youll the sfbs and the blogs to short. I am slightly taller and heavier and I would not ski something less than a 190 if I had the choice

Because I already have a dedicated 120mm waisted ski? I'm looking for more of a daily driver for all conditions and a lighter touring set up

Just get the 191 Bents. They grip just as well as the Blog (what I felt) and are WAAAAAAAY more playful and surfy. 183 Bents are my daily driver even when the snows shitty. So much fun and so light.

Well, running an MFD and wanting a light/playful ski is somewhat counterintuitive- MFDs, while a great system, are HEAVY- especially if you were to run something like a PX18 on them. The plate also hampers the skis natural flex to a certain extent, so it's going to ride stiffer.

There's another thread below this with a guy asking about a touring ski and thinking about the SFBs... might wanna check that for some other ideas

MFDs are 3 pounds, which you can lose by taking 2 large poops.

The heel piece pivots, so it actually does not effect the flex that much. I rode my buddy's Bents with MFDs, then my own and felt no difference.

Yes but its 3 more pounds than just alpine bindings. For tours more than half an hour youll feel it.

I haven't skied the Blogs, but I've heard a lot of people saying they are too soft in the tails and tips, and for someone your size, I don't know if that's what you'd be looking for.

First off, Blogs are way too soft for you. A friend of mine is about 160lbs and sold his because they were too soft.

You want light? Keep the Bibbys and get a 100-110mm ski for touring, and put F12s on it.

wait till next year get the opuses in 191. same as this year except for fresh black graphics. i love my opuses in a 185. everyone says you cant rip groomers with them but thats bs you can.

i find this false, ive never toured on anything else besides mfds but i did a 2 hour trip the other day almost non stop with mfds then built a jump for 5 hours. they really arnt that heavy once they are on your feet but when you have to carry them they seem heavy as fuck
