Bush is blowing the door open. Every poll/prediction has him up right now check out Electoral-Vote.com> and while you are there click on the projected final map. All indications are showing that this could turn into a landslide for Bush. I have been saying all along that he will take 53-55% of the vote and that is beginning to look more and more realistic as days go by. Kerry certainly knows how to kill his own campaign.

I just dont see how kerry possibly screwed this one up. He is running against a president who is a terrible public speaker and who is hated internationally and domestically by a lot of people. All it woulda taken was a half decent democratic canidate to slay bush.

i think that when it comes down to joe schmoe voter in kansas or wherever, the fact that bush invents words from time to time is out weighed by the fact that listening to kerry talk is like watching a sloth run through a pool of molasses.

seriously, i was pro bush and hoped on the kerry train and now i'm so fuckin confused i don't know what to do......once i heard kerry speak he killed it for me, i was on his god damn side. then he said some words and i thought 'damn i don't want to vote for him' i honestly think i might vote bush.....i never wanted to say that either, but at least they have plans for shit rather than talking about the vietnam thing.....i am so fuckin sick of that shit, as i've expressed before in these political threads. why did he have to make me change my mind, i wanted to vote democrate, i really did....appartently it's not the time. at least channey cracked some jokes at the republican rally. god this is going to be a tough 2 months of decision making.

Melvs, to some extent, that's certainly true. The target smaples for these polls aren't necessarily accurate, as the voter turnout is expected to be quite different this election than it was last election, owing to the ostensible importance of this one, and the fact that 9/11 is likely to stir people to the polls. But the fact that Bush's approval rating has apparently exceeded 50% for the first time in quite a while suggests that he's on the upswing at the moment. We'll see how things stand in a few months (the debates being absolutely key here), but really, the burden is on Kerry to win this election, and he needs to step his campaign up somehow, because blind optimism aside, things do not look good. People just don't seem to like the guy.

Maybe at some point voters will start caring about what the rest of the world thinks, and elect a president who is like-minded? I don't know, it seems to me you people are all either afraid of terrorists attacking you in your homes or concerned about taxation of rich people. Why Bush? It can't be economic policy (unless you're incredibly naive or uninformed), and I certainly hope for the sake of American decency that it isn't foreign policy, so what's keeping people voting for Bush? Tax cuts? I shouldn't like to think Americans, as a people, are quite that devoted to their wallets (besides the fact that only the rich stand to benefit under Bush as opposed to Kerry). It seems like the tables have turned... a lot of people are supporting him just because he's not John Kerry. I can't say I saw that one coming.

I want to see them debate eachother...Then I along the rest of the world will actually have a better idea who the more intelligent person really is. I mean anyone can read a speech, well thats not true bush has a pretty hard time with that and kerry cant put any enthusiasm into it, but the debates really shows who knows their shit better. Oh well if bush really does win its just 4 more years of quality material for the daily show.

I've said this from the beginning; People realize that we are in uncertain times right now, and during uncertain times people want a strong leader. Even in the case that that leader brings them down the wrong path, people want someone with strong vision. They would chose him over someone who is unclear and uncertain.

That alone will be the death of kerry's campaign.

i feel that Bush is leading us down the right path, even if sometimes it seems like were suffering too many casualties, i strongly feel that in the end, Bush has a stronger and more correct plan for the nation then kerry

PLEASE READ OR WATCH SOME CNN A BIT MORE CLOSELY, That is one poll that has him up 13 (gallop poll) witch is one of many polls. There are still debates and acoording to poltical people on CNN and FOX Kerry can only go up, and bush cant go any higher. It will be close, Bush isnt sure to win nor is Kerry.

right now, a vote for george bush is basically a character flaw. This man has taken what happened on september 11th, and turned it into the most profitable event in history. it's been so profitable for his campaign, just constantly bringing it up, and scaring them into voting for him. Every person who died in september 11th is being disgraced by this man. He's using there memories as pawns to further his own agenda, and he went to iraq IN THE NAMES OF THE DEAD, on false pretenses and led a war that had NO CAUSE. killing countless innocents, civilians and peaceful people. All in the name of those who died in september 11th.... i have no fucking clue how anyone could vote for this peice of shit.
