I need math help

Tried rly hard but I didn't ended up with the awnser.

If it can help, you kind of have numbers that 'don't work numbers': 2,5,8,12,23 and 33. Then you have triangle numbers: 1,3,6,10,15,21,28,36,45,55,66,78,etc. Now you have your first 'don't work numbers' 2, who's obvious. But for the others, notice how they are all a sum of a triangle number with a 'don't work number'. 5=3+2, 8=3+5, 12=10+2, 23=21+2, 33=28+5.

I'd try to look between your triangle numbers, the numbers that are sum of 'don't work numbers' and triangles numbers. For exemple between triangle number:

15 and 21, how do i get 17 and 20:
21 and 28, how do i get 26 but not 23;
28 and 36, how do i get 30 but not 33;
36 and 45, how do i get 38, 41 and 44;
45 and 55, ... etc

Also notice some triangle numbers are the sum of other triangles numbers, wich kind allows you to use those triangle numbers twice. ex: 10=6+3+1, 21=15+6, 28=21+6+1.

Definitly not the ultimate awnser.. but: bigger numbers get, more possibilities you have to find combinaisons, some numbers even end up with many possibilities (ex: 38 = 28+10 = 28+6+3+1 = 21+10+6+1) and it's why it stops after 33. (Definitly not the mathematic awnser)

Or you could just say Patrick Roy was the best goalie of all times. Its stops at number 33.
