Hot Do I Get Away From Fear???

I have alayws feared so much my tricks... even though i have skied about 13 yrs but i still fear tricks that i now i can do. i can do like 9's and switch 9's and have done tons of rodeos and flats on trampoline and did few last year on snow too. but im so fkn scared of doing rodeos tomorrow and  idont know why im so feared coz i know i have the skills to do it but its just so scary... i still havent got the guts to do frontflip.... and i have done 2 1080s. FRONTFLIP!??
Any suggestions how i can get my fears away from new tricks??

you can do it. I just learned rodeos and they are super easy. Exact same as on trampolines. Also backflips are waaaaaaaaay easier than frontflips in my opinion.

Sometimes I get into a mood where I loose all my fear and just go for it without thinking much...
I just commit like really hard.
Thats how I´ve learnt almost all my tricks, and if you commit, you wont fail as bad as if you wont.

you might have vaginitis, usually you can just apply vagasil and be good to go but idk if its has developed into a loquor caeruleus (latin word for it dont know the english), you may have to go see a doctor

When I was just a young skateboarder at 10 years of age I was learning to drop in. And I was really scared and some sketchy wigger dude came up to me put his hand on my shoulder and said.

That's so sick, I'm glad the majority of park skiers are older and helpful, wait, never-mind. I usually just huck, I already know what I'm doing so the chances of getting badly injured are slim so I just go.

I understand where you are coming from. I have always had the fear as well. After a while the pent up aggression of not doing a trick that I knew I could do/wanted to try overcame the fear of throwing it. Still, when I go to bed the night before skiing I imagine myself throwing a steezy blunt spin over a big and its feels great. Then I get to the in run in the morning and I get all nervous and I am like fuuuck this I'ma gonna fuck myself up. So I have been developing a method that has been working for the last couple seasons. First, which is an obvious one that everyone does, I warm up on small stuff and get a feel for my spins. Then I usually follow one of my better friends into the jump and do some old school trick. Once I am comfortable with the feature, I talk myself through it. I tell myself "okay, you've got the speed. you can stomp the fuck out of this shit. It's gonna feel so fucking good and I am going to be a fucking boss. My shit is hot fire. I fucking got this one in the bag. Fuck it." Then I drop and think that same thing with the trick in the back of my mind. Right before the lip my thoughts switch places with the trick as my primary focus. But in the back of my mind I am still psyching myself up. Then when I am landing there are three very fast thoughts I have. Either "Oh yeah this shit is coming around perfect I am going to afterbang as hard as I can" or "Holy fuck you better get this to your feet somehow oh my god I landed that was sketchy" or "fuck fuck fuck get it around get it around uh oh this is going to hurt a bit"

the first time a try a new flip im usually super scared but i just do it anyway. you're never gonna be less afraid, you just have to go for it even though you are afraid. after doing this for all of last season, any flip that i can do on tramp doesnt seem scary when i go for it on skis now

this. once your good and fucked up, take a couple laps and go eat some lunch and let your coordination come back to you pretty well. then chug some caffine to focus and huck whatever you want to do. the trick is not to have any fear or doubts in your mind at the time. at least when i think im gonna fall, i fall. so just focus on your trick and dont worry about whats gonna happen

Think about how fucking badass and awesome you will look when you land that shit. And if you're still thinking about crashing, think about how badass and gnarly it'll look when you eat shit and then pop right up. I don't know. For me, as long as I knew I could pop right back up, crashing doesn't really bother me to the point that I can't send something.

You skateboard. After you fall on goddamn rock for days on end you couldn't care less about slipping up on some snow. It also helps with commitment issues. The only thing that hurts worse than slamming on a skateboard is slamming on a skateboard when you only half-way commit.
