To people who want the crust cut off: Why?

I bet you don't like whole grain stuff either.

I do know that there are certain sandwiches that call for the crust to be removed, but for your standard lunch bag PB&J, what's wrong with the crust?  Is it texture?  Taste?  Reminds you of Mommy? Help me out here!

I have a feeling I answered my own question, but I'd like to hear it from a seasoned crust-free sandwich fanatic.

On what kind of bread? 

I like oat nut bread and the crust is awesome with the oats and stuff on it.  I can't say I like a 'crust bite' a whole lot more than a crust-less one, but it definitely adds something to the sandwich.

pretty much this ^^

every now and then i feel like doing crazy and i remove the crust because i like consistency in my food...
i don't really like it when i get bites with crust around the outside and bites without crust around the center....

Its a waste of perfectly good food.I know a couple people who remove the crust on sandwitches and pizza.Its always nice for me though.

I can't judge someone on something so trivial, so don't get me wrong.  However, if you want consistency, why don't you just suck all of your meals out of a tube or something?  I think the variation in consistencies makes the sandwich more interesting, and definitely tastier if it's good crust.

i just eat all the crust first. its not bad, but its most certainly inferior to the soft mushy center of pb and j. i just get it out of the way

It really depends on the type of bread. Like the Oat Nut bread I agree, the crust is good. But some crust is just dry and terrible and the texture sucks. But I don't cut it off, I just eat up until the crust.

I only know one dude who does it and he's a giant baby. But for pizza crust I always save it for last so if I get full I've at least gotten the best parts in.

no filling at the crust so its dry and flaky and doesnt taste delicious. so i dont pussy out when i make a sandwich and fill that thing to the edges and beyond.
