i just got dumped for skiing too much and not spending enough time with my girl.

why cant i find a girl that will actually want to come skiing with me and loves it as much as i do.

DO GURLS LYKE DIS EXIST?

Yes they do but they are few and far between! And even if you have a girl who skis, she most likely will have never skied park before... It's a struggle sometimes but luckly my gf understands my addiction!

There is one who rides some armadas with a tall sweater, who is super fucking cute. Havn't gotten the balls to ask her how i can get to chads' from alta. fml.

Maybe try meeting a girl at your home mountain, either while skiing or apres ski? Might help.
She sounds totally wrong for you anyway if she so selfish that she doesn't like you doing something that you love and makes you happy.

she didn't dump you for liking skiing, she dumped you cause you have a one track mind and prioritize play time over her time. not cool bro. it's good to have a hobby, but not good when it takes over your life (unless it's straight up a career, but for most of us, skiing is just a past time activity).

Yeah, relationships never work if one person's like that. You've gotta support what makes each other happy. I feel like a lot of girls get into the mindset that "he's choosing skiing over me/he cares about skiing more than me" and it causes all kinds of problems. You need a girl who is happy that you're off your butt doing something athletic that you love, and who doesn't take it personally when you leave her to go skiing.

people who don't ski just don't understand the life style. I've dated guys who don't ski and it just didn't end well because I felt like I had to chose one or the other (obviously I chose skiing)

well..... i found one. only a snowboarder(oh well) but she likes the fact that i ski so much. i even enjoy shredding with her. maybe she isn't as fast as i am but hey, she's a keeper

We exist, were just hard to find. I agree with everyone who said go find a girl who's at your local hill. I hope that I can say that most girls who ski find GUYS who ski many times more attractive than those who don't. With ski season taking up your free time it's hard to find someone who can deal with that unless they ski with you. So go forth young skier and pick up girls @ your hill.

you say it girl! I hate when guys always talk about how they don't like skiing with girls because they usually can't keep up. I know I've skied with some guys who are really good skiers, and I'm waiting for them at the bottom :) yeah, some girls take it easy..but not all of us!

I feel your frustration! But look at it this way, if you commit to your passion, dont expect to develop a stable love life. Shane had a wonderful wife, she understood that trying to tame a lion is pointless and she understood the importance of Shane's sports.
