Need help fast! stripped binding screw

Hi! I am new to skiing so dont hate! I got a question that might be stupid for you but ..

So yesterday I broke my brake so I took it off and At the same time  I looked at my other binding screws to see if they were tight enough. I realized that screw next to my heel is stripped ! is it fixable with resin ? I hope its fixable cuz I really realll REALLY wanna ski and I cant buy new skis right now:(

Take it to a shop. Worst thing I can imagine is you'll need a remount. If its the heel piece then remounting it 1cm away wont affect anything as the heel will just slide into position.

I'm not sure if it's possible or not, but it's happened to me. Going to a shop is definitely your best bet as they'll get it right and you may screw it up.

You need a Heli coil to be installed in the hole that the stripped screw is in. Its basically an insert that takes up a bit more room on the ski, you should be fine.

you can either helicoil it or epoxy it. a helicoil will definitely fix it, epoxy will probably be fine though, wood or foam core?

if all the other screws are tight i bet it has been stripped the whole time

Helicoil is easy as hell to do. As others have said, bring it to the shop that did the mount and ask them to do it for free. They should unless they're dicks. Shouldn't take then too long

this happened to me with my toe-piece and after asking many people and even the ski shop who claimed nobody could do it due to insurance reasons i just epoxied it in 3 days ago, it's fine now, but i'm only planning on using them in my backyard so idk how reliable they'd be actually skiing
