Hey ns, I have a really old but really comfy pair of raichle flexons. Recently a few of my cables broke so i bought some new ones on the full tilt website, basically, how do you remove the old cables and insert the new ones?

Did you get buckles with the cables? That will make this whole project a bit easier.

top two cables aren't too bad. take out the liner and grab a screwdriver. top cable is attached to the back cuff. you should be able to fannagle it out, use the screwdriver sparingly, as you don't want to fuck up the insert (it is replaceable if you do). Middle cable is attached to lower part of the shell. again, wiggle it out to remove. try not to use the screwdriver, because it can fuck up the attachment point, and that one is not replaceable. bottom buckle is simple too. take out the screw adjacent to bottom buckle. don't lose the screw or the shim. the cable should come right out the shim. then you can just pull the cable out through it's attachment point on the buckle.
to put new cables on, just do everything in reverse order.
have fun!

couple additions for getting the cables back on. definitely easier to remove the cuff from the lower shell. For the the top cable, I used a flathead to open up the gap a little bit and slid the cable in fairly easily.
