Replying to To anyone who has worked or has been at windells, please help
So I want to get a awesome summer skiing season in and the choices are very slim in the USA. Really doesn't seem cost efficient to leave the country, so I am gonna apply to Camp windells for summer work.
I had some questions for anyone who can answer.
1. Is the pay worth while?
Im not good enough to coach, so I would be a grounds keeper, cook, driver, security or something along those lines. Do they pay worth while and do they get housing options?
2. If your not a coach or counselor do you still get a pass to rid on the Mountain?
I want to ski in the summer so I need a pass for the Mountain, kinda simple question.
3. How competitive are the jobs for lower level employees?
I know I'm applying to lower level jobs but it is Windells and I assume it is still competitive. If I wrong to assume this Please tell me.
4. Whats the Likely hood that I could get Hired?
I'm a second year lift operator at Buttermilk MNT. in Aspen, CO. I have a A.A.S in Park and Recreation. I got hard midwest work ethic. I've had lots of outdoor jobs like guiding, Park security, BLM fencing, Wildfire fighting, other miscellaneous jobs.
What is the likely hood of me getting hired or do they only hire guys who are good at the sports they have at the camp?
