I have to say, i-pods are the most overrated thing to this date. Everyone has them, prolly because all the things being givin away on shows like MTV are only i-pods. Seriously, its just an MP3 PLAYER!!! And I must say not the greatest either. Bunch of sheep if you ask me.

Yup every person I know who has one has like at the most 200 songs on theirs, and their fuckin parents bought them for them. Meanwhile, I have a really shitty mp3 cd player. I think i'll just buy a nice minidisc player.

minidisks are peices of shit... they are too damned fragile.. wasted technology if you ask me..

ipods are a bunch better than other mp3 players. thier song organization is 100x better aswell... plus u get games and stuff too

have you seen the new apple ipod presented by HP? they didnt change a thing except switch the apple logo with the hp logo? its the exact same thing, same price, same warranty same everything.

i've got a dell jukebox instead, cause i got it for $100. i've got about 1000 songs, and the wireless radio thing for my car. so, i paid $130 for the 15gig + wireless where apple would charge you $400 for all that. ipods rock, but i'm broke.

^^the only problem with my i pod is i take it every where and it gets scratched but it has never broken and i have like 3000 songs on it. also can you play gaves on those sony things? those games can be quite intertaning in a boring class

yeah i got a 20 gb about a month ago, best investment i ever made. who cares if MTV gives them out, theyre so useful. plus, it acts as a drive and i can put anything on it. the battery life isnt half bad, its so small and has the best design out of anything i've seen, plus the wheel is a great idea. it put a dent in my wallet, but it was worth it

bleh, all the people that don;t like them are just stupid, i have the mini(yea, i should've gotten the normal one, but my mom got it for me as a present), but it's fuckin ill, it's like...4gig?, i'm pretty sure, but i haven't filled up 1/2 of it, and i have 400 songs on it, way too many for me anyways
the only complain i have the the battery life, but i always fast forward a lot, so it kills the battery

i was using my buddys ipod today it kicks so much ass ... i had a creative and it would like morf my music together some how and some times it would turn on and say that the memory was empy and there was no songs i was like wtf ..and i had to like fight with shitty ass radio shack to get my money back .i pods rule

I have an Archos Jukebox 20 recorder which kicks iPODs ass anytime. it's a little hefty, but you have a digital in and out, line in and you can rip mp3s real time off of anything that you can plug in thru LINE IN (up to 160bps which is good quality) and it has a mic too.
I have 19 gigs of music on it and I need more, but iPODs suck
I hate the gay lookin' white 'no bass' headphones

i went to best buy to get an i-pod....they're perfect for skiing, why wouldn't you want one.......anyway, i was looking at all of the mp3 players there and found the creative nomad, which has 40 gig and it's only $250. that was much less than the $600 40 gig i-pod. and i got a 2 year warrenty for $30. all in all, get the nomad. it's slick, holds a shitload of music and rarely craps out, if it does....take it back and get a brand new one ;)

it also came with a carrying case (not water proof)

what i think is so great about the i-pod, which the creative lacks, is the touch screen navigator....that shit is slick and i envy those people who paid the bills for it.


(oh and i don't only have 200 songs, i think i got 30 gigs of mine full of music....so these things are good for some people buddy)
