what the hell? Polo? I'd be caught dead before I was sponsored by fucking polo...only bad thing about olympics, other non freeskiing companies coming in and pretending to give a shit when the only reason they are being sponsored is because of the olympics.

To anyone commenting on RL making non thug outerwear, there are plenty of brands that make nice looking non thug outerwear. Cloudveil, spyder, eider, marker, mountain hardwear, helly hansen.. etc.

This seems really bizarre to me, but then again, I live in California where the only RL stuff that gets worn is Black Lable by Orange County divorcees.

It's cool that there is money coming into the industry. I understand a clothing sponsor, but not outerwear... unless of course they opt to make really amazing tech gear that rivals Cloudveil, and doesn't look like it belongs on Lindsay Vonn. But their website isn't promising just yet.

I guess, I just see freesking as a non exclusive thrill seeking community. I see RL as an exclusive luxury brand. To me, the sponsorship doesn't mesh.
