Knee brace question

So last year i tore my acl and sprained my mcl and pcl so i got a Don Joy fource point knee brace fitted to my knee and they say it's for sports and preventing hyper extension and acl injurys. Could i wear this for skiing? it's a little uncomfortable and keeps my knee a little bent at all times but your knees are bent when skiing. this is what it looks like:

i dont see why not. but ask your doctor if your really worried about it
