im buying new lenses and want to know the advantages of single lenses vs. double lenses. obviously single lenses are much cheaper but are the double lenses worth it? buying three double lenses would be about 120 dollars (shred omnibots). thanks
Double lenses keep the fog off easier, although single lenses are considered more optically correct because there's less distortion when looking through the lens compared to a double. (Hence why racers tend to use mainly single lenses, and they sell the single lens packs as "racing" packs)
Which three lenses are you looking at? You would probably be better off replacing a single clear/yellow lens for one of your choices if you night ski or ski a lot of overcast conditions. Save money too.
definintely go for the double, dont even question it, youll be much more satisfied, its better to buy one nice pair of quality goggles youll be happy with for a long time than struggle with cheaper ones
