I'm an advanced level skier in the Pacific Northwest, 5'10", 160 lbs. I spend most of my time in the park, so I'm looking for something that's agile and stuff enough to be stable on jumps and competent on rails, but I also wanna be able to make my way around the rest of the mountain, and not make an ass of myself when I hit the backcountry. My last pair was about 80mm underfoot and they were nice and quick in the park but whenever my friends dragged me into some pow I got buried up to my waist and left behind.
I know this is pretty standard, but every ski company seems to have their token "one-ski-quiver all mountain/park ski" in their lineup but each company's example of this seems pretty different. I've narrowed it down to Line Chronics and Armada AR7's, and since they're the same price, I'm kinda stumped. I was hoping to hear from anyone who's owned either. Are the Chronics durable? Can AR7's get through pow?
Thanks for any info you have
