Ski movie/segment that Inspired you to shred

Mine was a VHS copy of High Life from Teton Gravity. It was the first ski movie I ever bought and I watched the fuck out of it, also Yearbook with Thalls segment and sammys part in x=10.

Pop Yer Bottlez got me off the board and onto skis for the first time. Teddybear Crisis made me put the board away for good. Brandon Becker's opening seg, Mike Wilson, Sage, Tanner... the whole movie was just sick. Still my favorite of all time.

I found an issue of freeskier in my 7th grade English class room, it was the movie guide issue and I saw level 1's turbo (had no idea what freeskiing was but had been skiing since I was 2) went to there website bough eye trip an now here I am

I grew up watching ski films. When I was 15 I almost got fired from my summer job having been caught too many times watching the Blizzard of Ahhhs and Carving the White, when I was supposed to be tuning rental skis. Each fall in college i'd organise screenings of the Matchstick and TGR films, just so i could keep a copy of the movies when the premiers were over. I remember getting a VHS copy of PoorBoys State of Mind and i watched and rewound it till the tape was so worn you could barely make out the images. But the first most vivid memory is of seeing a Warren Miller film. I must have been 10 years old when I snuck into the back of a theatre and sat through two screenings of Warren's latest film.

Lately though, Rob Heule's 10/11 season edit, and Cam Riley in the eighty six have inspired me to go hit more urban this winter.
