Just picked one of these up and I am in the shower as we speak. This case is epic. Anyone else have oe?

Just bought one of these and it looks sick. But it also reminds me that Apple could easily make an iphone waterproof by adding about 50 cents worth of rubber o rings, a screw in head phone plug and a charge door.

I have a waterproof sony point and shoot that looks exactly the same if not smaller than any other camera. The touch screen works under water as does the mic and speakers.

I hope that one day technology companies wake up to the fact that everything should be waterproof and it shouldn't be an added feature.

I think I use the head phone jack to often to justify screwing and unscrewing the little stopped every time.

I thought the same thing, but I have bought 2 screen protectors and 2 cases in 7 months of having a phone. I decided it is an investment, and I am a clumsy man so why not.

yup they are great, i work at best buy, when they first came out we had a fish bowl filled with water we'd set put the iphone in it all day long and let customers use it and test it out, they are awesome.

lol if you cant be away from your iphone long enough to take a shower maybe you dont need one...

but i do see how the waterproofing is important for drops and filming on the mtn, but since it doesnt float your still fucked when you drop it in a lake or ocean.

I have had this case for about a week now and it is really incredible. Waterproof, screen protector is very crisp, size is not much larger, sound through the case boggles my mind.

I think these far out weight the cons, but just to list what I have noticed so far: Inconvenient to unscrew and screw in the headphone jack (hopefully future models feature a snapping mechanism, have to use only apple iphone charger, incompatible with most devices unless you have that extension thing, cost.

But the fucking thing is waterproof. Literally cant be beat.

you can easily attach a leash to it with either a floatation device attached to it or just attach it to yourself. i have a verizon boulder or rock or w/e its called, i have a leash for it for when im kayaking or w/e so i don't loose it in the river.

any way, im getting this case when my 4s shows up hopefully by the end of this month

i'm kind of tired of these ridiculous cases. they're too bulky, and change the entire phone, which imo defeats the purpose of buying the phone. plus they're not really attractive. i went 2.5 yrs with my first iphone without any protection what so ever before i accidentally dropped it and it cracked. imo, the best option is a rubber case, and a screen protection sticker if you're not gonna be careful with it. hard cases don't absorb impact. until then, when handling expensive things, i'll just continue being careful, instead of thoughtless.

ps this is just a rip off of the otterbox. and has some useless features that make it look fancier than it needs to be.

I agree with you. I had mine in an Otterbox case from when I bought it until a couple months ago when I broke it....IN the case.

I got the back and front repaired and it just looks so much nicer without one of those bulky cases.

I'd rather just be much more careful with it and have it look like it's supposed to look like.

Its really not bulky at all. To be able to use it on the mountain and toss it in my pocket with no worries of it getting wet is with it for me

You have no idea what you are talking about. Literally nothing like the Otterbox cases. I suggest you take a look at the case in person. It is very streamline and well thought out.

It is not in any way a rip off of the otter box, you sound like you are taking crazy pills haha.

no, i'm basing my opinion on a case i knew existed over two years ago, and has very similar features. i'd rather not look at in person. call me a shithead, but i don't really care. offer me something aesthetically pleasing that i'm going to cover a beautiful iphone with and we can talk. if you know me at all, you know i refuse to take the crazy pills, therefore making me theoretically crazy. :)
