Now all full tilt need is b-dog on their team and no one will buy any other boot than FT. I mean, t-wall, e'dollo, hornbeck, and if b-dog was on that team. Every kid would duck a cock and a half to get a pair.
But to those asking how ya go from an spk to an ft....well first most of the pros don't ride "out of the box" boots. I'd bet anything his spks weren't 104 lasts. And then the fts are gonna be 100% custom made to his foot. Shell, liner, etc. You actually think Seth rides out of the box seths? Cause I'm here to tell ya he don't. Even at the simplest level, pros have access to their companies top boot fitter/experts. Heck there aren't too many groms out there who ride "out of the box" boots.
Their actual name is used in conjunction with the product. Do you really think they don't have business managers savvy enough to get them some dough for their names being used?
Also the K2 group owns Full Tilt. Do you think Seth Ski's for free?
I'm sorry dude, but there are pro's that get a bit of product thrown their way, then there are PRO's!
im pretty sure that morrison is the only one on the pro team who rocks full tilts for free (i read about how he loved them and how happy he was full tilt reanimated the old raichle boot). i guess wallisch gets a lot of money from them.
i love my fulltilts cause they stopped my shinbang and are really comfy. its strange how different the stance is compared to my former spks.
anyway, the quality of their product is fucking low. the buckles are some piece of shit. they break all the time and never last long.
if you get some money, try dalbello. very similar boot but way more resistable.
I cant honestly say seeing Phillip Cassabon and Henrik riding full tilt would "inspire" me what so ever to buy full tilts. It would probably do the opposite.
if a skiboot changes the way you stand on skis, even if its just some degrees, it affects your skiing, so does the flex of a boot. and in my case, i didnt have any shinbang since i wear full tilt. but you can call it coincedence.
if thats really the way things go at full tilt, i couldnt appreciate it more, but i seriously doubt that.
