Where to go for good pow?

ive been trying to decide where i should go for a good pow trip this winter albe to go anywhere in North America...

If you're truly lookin for the blower pow, the answer is Utah or Jackson/Targhee. If you're looking for a massive party scene, you might be better suited to head to CO.

don't come to tahoe, we get like 3-4 ft overnight at times but it's all cement.

Well, if you really have the option to go ANYWHERE in North America? I would say Jackson or Revy. Both have amazing terrain inbounds which is easily accesible.

alta/snowbird is awesome and gets pretty consistent dumps, just make sure you come later than january. i've heard revelstoke is amazing too. jackson is unbeatable in terms of terrain but its pricey and they don't get quite as much snow as utah or revelstoke

targhee gets stupid amounts of better snow than utah. also you can stay slopeside w/lift tickets for $120 per night. togwotee lodge is pretty baller. every time ive been there for a stretch of 3 days or more, ive had atleast 1 8+ inch day. stupid fun, wide minigolf zone off sacajawea too, and that stays good days and weeks after a snow.


gets cold there, like very, very cold though. Yoou going with pops? friends? whole family? what are they looking for? where have you skied before?

Get access to a sled. If you can, mob Cooke City, MT. It is easily the deepest shredding i've ever done. The mountains there were built to be skied on and all you have to do is be willing to jib a slednecker or two.

Powder is powder. Kids on east coast or other places of the world would kill for tahoe pow, cement or not. Just ski it and stop complaining.

powder really isnt powder, its all different ratios of water to air. Its definitely heavier snow but its still tons of fun
