Moving to Whistler next year

Hey Ns

.  I'm 16 years old, finishing my highschool this year.  I'm planning on moving from Quebec to Whistler next summer.   I want to work a year or two and ski to most I can.  I need some tips on hows life in Whistler.  I need to know if it is possible to find a job before I leave and what would be the best option to find a place to stay.  I'm really serious with this plan and I need good response please.  I will be leaving anywhere from June or july 2012.

I'm not looking for advice on what to do.  My decision is made and I know I will go back to school latter.  I'm good at school but I just don't know what to do yet.   I want to ski as much as I can and learn to live on my own for a year or two.

Hey, I grew up in Quebec and lived in whistler for 2 years. In my opinion your better off finishing cegep first and they heading out when your 18/19. At your age, your probably gonna have a really hard time finding work and/or a landlord who will house you. Either way, best of luck.

The problem is that I don't know what to do. So instead of waisting my time in cegep doing some shit just for nothing, I will go out and ski and try something else. It will also be a great way to gain experience.

i just moved to whistler from ontario im 18 and finished school last year, its been a sick experience for sure i came out here by myself and have met some really chill people we just shred n get baked all dizay its tight, i got a job the day i moved here depending on the time of year is weather youll be able to find some work
