^ you pretty much can't, you can ski away from it for a bit but it always catches you. I completely forgot about that game, i used to play that when i was little for so long.

d00dz, you can get sort of get away from the monster(s). If you bomb fast enough and evade the monster for a while another monster comes. Then if you evade both of them a third one comes up. Then you get owned in the face. The max I've gotten was three hairy mensters.

Yeah, press F or whatever to bomb and you can get by the monster... but you'll be going so fast that you'll run into something eventually.

its still on my computer, press 0 on the number pad and you can jump, if you jump over dead trees they catch fire, if you side step upwards at the begining another monster eats you, sometimes when you avoid the monster for long enough another will chase you as well

I remember chips challenge! that game was sweet.. it was in the arcade classic pack that they used to have for computers.. and anyhow to clear it up, it's an abombinable snowman / yeti. And also, there are a few different ways to avoid the abominable snowmen.. The first one always comes around a certain point (when you get eaten, look at the numbers in the top corner). The trick is to stop about 200 feet above that point.. You'll see him waiting for you.. scoot over until you can find a jump, jump over his head and ski like hell. Eventually, other monsters will snag you up.

Also, clicking the mouse button at the certain times allows you to jump tree stumps and just about everything, also allows you to do some oldskool moves (where you tweak your skis off to the side in air) and you can do this with huge spins and flips too.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

here are the instructions i think, i made this myself:

Down arrow = go down
Left Arrow = left
Right Arrow = Right

0 on the numpad = Jump
F on the keyboard = Speed up

F2 = Restart
F3 = Pause

Thats all i figured out so far

I love that game!! I played it last night while i was talking on the phone. every time im just bombin around the mountain just fuckin blazed. i always think of ski free. skiing high is like a video game. so much fun.
