hahaha same! thing is I have the worst short term memory ever so most of the time I double book things, and then I realise what I've done and feel like shit. Thank God for rainchecks!

I'm so bad at planning things but it really isn't my fault, its the unreliable friends who ruin plans.


Yesterday I planned on camping out on a mountain with 2-3 other bro-friends. Just a little chill out sesh to check out the night time view of the city from a cliff, get drunk or high, whatever... just kick back. Sounds like a dandy time to myself and friend A, so the two of us bring everything up to the camp site, rake it all out, make a nice fire pit, set up a tent, chairs, everything in the scorching heat of the day. We hike back down and go swimming with friend B and C at friend C's house to cool off before we go up for the night. While swimming, friend C decides he just doesn't feel like sleeping out tonight so he isn't going. No reason, he just doesn't feel like going. Friend B says he only wants to go if friend C goes. Its ok if he doesn't, he annoys us but would keep everything in check since he doesn't take part in mind altering substances. Now its two dudes and sounds really gay, so we hike back up the mountain, pack everything back up, and carry it all back down and go home. Worst night.

Needed to vent ahhh

Yesterday we planned a chill afternoon. 2 little casears, 18 of natty, and a 10 of weed. We then proceed to watch John Mayer perform live in HD with surround sound.


Yes, that afternoon was chill as fuck and it is a cool story, bro.

My problem is the unreliable friends. I planned out a huge senior road trip to Mammoth with a few buddies. A couple of them bailed within the first few weeks of the idea which was alright. They kinda sucked at riding anyways. It was down to me and one other friend. He was game for it right up to the last fucking night before the trip. I had put all of the hotels and what not on my credit card too so all of the fees from bailing on the trip would have fucked me over. Instead I decided if nothing else, I would just drive the 1100 miles and do the trip solo. Luckily when I was leaving at the ass crack of dawn he showed up. But most of my friends are the type to bail at the last minute.

exactly how my friends are. Every time I plan something they bail the night before, it pisses me off so much. Then when they plan stuff they wait till the night before to plan a weekend trip and shit just gets fucked up.

Not a whole lot. I used to wonder that, then gradually quit skating due to giving up on it and not having homies to skate with after moving out, and now literally nothing.

You'll end up spending money on useless stuff (mostly drinking related, work a bit, and if you're in school you'll go to classes, repeat. Pretty great, so keep skating.
