I just saw this in chairlift diaries maybe 2012/2013 nordica skis...TJ pro model?

Exactly. But for real, at this point you would think that companies would be progressing the look and feel of boots. Sure there are tweaks here and there but for the most part nothin. Now say what ya will be style wise I though the spk pros looked sick. Maybe not functional at all but they looked good. But these phony laces and tongues on cable covers. Really? I dunno. People seem to like em so maybe I'm the odd man here. You won't see me rockin those anytime soon though.

not digging the twalls. take the covers off and they arent bad though.

but imagine how sexy the drop kick would look with a white tongue... and how well it would match with the new line chronics (orange ones)

why change something that works? the 3 piece design is something people don't want changed. the cable cover laces are just tom's little touch to the boot, he can pull them off and while I agree no one else can and they do look stupid you can TAKE THEM OFF. I think you're senile old man, your posts still suck dick.

It's funny how some of you agree they look stupid yet attack me anyway for the hell of it. Haha. Ya gotta admit that there are a few style trends as of late that look completely clownish. I don't care how good you are, if you look like a clown your a clown. I'm not saying I have all the trend answers or how peeps should dress but when somethin looks stupid ya gotta call it out. Removable or not it's still dumb. Imagine that R&D meeting and try not to laugh.

they could be worse they could be bright pink and have dicks on them. even though the aesthetics do not matter to me they look kinda good. they took off the stupid sneaker paint job shit near the toe. just take off the cable covers and wear baggy pants then you wont notice them

Dead horse but I feel yas on that. I really do. Think it's just me still holding my breath for that wow design and it not coming. FT is in a strong position to dictate style right now and I personally think the direction is wrong. I get that you can remove the covers. I really do but I still think its hokey. I also get the 3 piece thing. I had OG raichles back in the day. The industry is out of ideas and the best they can come up with is fake laces and tongues. If no one says anything they'll continue to push this crap ya know?

Timberland inspired boots. Snowboarding did it 3-4 years ago and it was lame then too. Skiing doesn't care. Just blatantly regurgitates snowboardings discarded trends.

Today we got to see a serious "game changer" the Rossignol Soul/Squad 7. This is a new ski to the Rossignol lineup next year (2013). This ski is a BOSS! It's 120mm in the waist making it a little bigger than the S7. It looks a lot like the S7 at the tip of the ski, but a slightly shallower shovel. It feels stiffer than the Super 7, but it doesn't have a metal core. The tail is flatter than the S7, but it's still is enough for switch on pow days. We cant wait to ski these!
