CLQHell yeah, when was the last time anyone was skiing in the east? March?
Chubz.I wanna say Killington was spinning well into May but given it was a single run, Utah looked like they had a hell of a winter, so stoked to get out there this fall
Lé.SkiingLife hack:
If you gotta shit in a public bathroom and you're worried about splash back put a few squares of tp down and boom no splash back.
DeebieSkeebieson the topic of shits and bathrooms. I felt really bad for this one dude last fall @ the hotel i was working at. He was a new patroller training outside on the cabriolet at The Canyons doing rescue stuff and he came sprinting through the lobby and into the mens room. I didn't think much of it until he came up to the desk like a sad puppy dog or a little kid who just did something bad and was all "Hey man, This is super fucked up, I feel bad, I had a real long night last night, but I accidentally shit on your floor in there. I feel terrible dude, I just wanted to tell you first before someone found it, I didnt wanna do that to you at least." I It was a real man-to-man moment where we all could relate honestly.
Chubz.Lol I’m working at a hotel this summer and last week I had some kid in his early 20s bust in the bathroom while I was mid shit and blew chunks in the urinal and slipped and fell on his ass so hard, poor guy was obliterated at like 4 o clock in the afternoon, held back laughter and asked the dude if he was okay and needed anybody. Shitty situation for him but i got a pretty funny story out of it
JoeF2661If you're the type of person who makes fun of somebody for something their excited and by doing so bring that person down you are the worst type of human being.
BigPurpleSkiSuitGonna go hunt some liftlines at snowbird or alta for random crap that fell off the lift. Wish me luck
MinggMy boyfriend's grandpa died and they are doing the service on Saturday at noon. It is my weekend to work so I was super nervous asking if I could leave early. I work 6am to 2pm with 6-10 being the busiest times getting people up and washed for the day. So I thought instead of taking the day off, I could leave at 11 and still get there with plenty of time while also helping my coworkers as much as I can. When explaining the situation to the scheduler and asking if I could leave work at 11am she asked "Would an hour be enough time for you to get there?" AND I WAS SHOCKED. She didn't ask if I could stay till 11:30. She didn't ask me to find a replacement. She didn't give me ANY resistance - she literally asked if I would have enough time, despite it already being 3 hours off of my shift.
That was so strange but very awesome because in the past I would have had to fight for an hour off or been told no. So to be able to get out 3 hours early, on a Saturday, and STILL be offered more time is fucking beautiful and I can now go the service (:
DeebieSkeebiesWondering if there is some sort of pre-approval process for the MMJ program beginning in March of 2020 for Utah. Sounds like some doctors in SLC are already writing letters of approval but seeing as there isnt an official application system set up yet for patients, Im interested in seeing if theres like a pre-approval list or waiting list or something. Either way, qualified doctors arent going to be approving people until November and dispensaries dont open until March 2020 so theres a bit of waiting before cards are issued.
The amount of flower we can get is sorta interesting. Its not like what I've seen or heard in other states with medical or recreational programs. Normally you can get it in bud-form in jars/sealed bags but for Utah, its going to be 1 gram doses per day (10 grams total) that come in sheet-like form just like youd see allergy or cold medicine come in. 10 grams, 1 gram a day, but also you can only get 10 grams every 14 days so its not even going to last you until youre able to get more. Quite odd. Im familiar with other places allowing you to get up to 14 grams/day instead of whatever utah has.
Theres still that lawsuit going on too so chances are it'll be amended and changed. But at the very least, consumables and cartridges will be chill
OregonDeadHow much are they going to charge patients for this privilege?
Titus69
TnskiHave you ever thought of working for yourself instead of a company? Probably make more and make your own hours.
DeebieSkeebiesCards are apparently $200 to apply and renew every 3 to 6 months I guess and no idea what pricing will be, I imagine super high but im willing to pay for sure. I
OregonDeadOuch. Road trips are probably less $ IDK. Big sales today for 710 like this for example

Basically give it away

Titus69I would like to do what I do now but for myself, it would just take a bit to get started but could easily make $500 a day that mainly goes in my pocket before spending a little on the products and all (currently do mobile detailing)
BigPurpleSkiSuitDo you really think youd be able to find clients?
Titus69Lol Utah trying to make sure patients who need it cant get enough to use it often, and mainly give it to other people, cause if little mormon Joey tries a weed cigarette he might think Joseph Smith is a psycho and his religion is bullshit.
BigPurpleSkiSuitDo you really think youd be able to find clients?
Titus69Given the amount of business cards I give out in a day and how backed up our schedule is, yes absolutely. Who doesnt wanna have their gross car cleaned while they work from home or just dont have time to leave it at a shop?
DeebieSkeebiesWe can still get concentrates/wax. I really like the cartridges also that have the THC/CBD ratios. A good indica with a CBD ratio thats good is like so nice
BigPurpleSkiSuitHuh, how long has the shop you've been working at been open?
Titus696 years....and theres no signs of people not wanting our business
BigPurpleSkiSuitHuh, I knew there were tons of them so I figured the whole market was just oversaturated. I also knew of a group of 3 dudes that went to form one who opened accounts at our bank and were in bad debt within 5 months. However they didn't run their business well and always ate on the company credit card.
Titus69Only thing is a lot of people are getting into this business cause of how much you can make for yourself, a lot of our competitors do 1-3 cars a day but at $300-500 each but do full on paint correction and full interiors, we do a lot of maintenance customers who dont need much done and charge at most $300 for one car, but mainly focus on interiors unless they want it buffed at our shop.
Chubz.Let’s link and build

Titus69If you wanna sometimes do very shitty gross work, I could maybe be down once I live in salt lake again, make $10k each a summer and barely work winters?
