I can't say that I approve of Newschooler administrators soliciting votes from an overwhelmingly teenage demographic for an online gambling website's model.

Regardless of her ties to a member of the skiing community, there are certain boundaries that I believe should not be crossed. If you wish to encourage people to vote for her that's fine, but don't do it by abusing your position within the ski community.

As far as I'm concerned, the values of sites such as Ivegas do not reflect my own, nor those of freestyle skiing and I would appreciate it if the two remained separate.

no one's being influenced by ivegas and they made a contest where you can vote on the internet so this shouldn't be unexpected. if someone has a way to get someone farther with whatever they're doing, why not take advantage of it? it's not cheating, it's assisted winning
