Switching to skiing

what type of ski should i get. a all moutain or park? i wanna do mostly park and im just starting/swithcing and having a hard time deciding what i should get. i have been looking at some line skies but not sure if i should get those or another type.

I would prob get a pair of park or all mountain. The line chronic is a nice ski to start off with.

Faction Kennedy, a little short ones. They are superlight, so you learn much faster, (especially when they are short) and they are also good all around skis.

get the line blends, or maybe some armada t halls's but its really up to you what you want to do with them most of the time.  I have the afterbangs for park and i love them

stop plaguing this kid's mind tanner.

I have the line masterminds and they are great for park and all mtn. They are utterly terrible in powder so if you are leaning towards a ski that could manage in that, I would suggest the line blends.

park. all mountains might be good when you start but if your intentions are to be a park skier eventually, you'll regret not having them when your all mountain skis are holding you back

learn how to ski first and wrong forum place. you can learn with park skis but it may be a bit harder to learn if you get certain center core skis.

eh.. i would rather buy a park ski or all moutain ski than spend 100-200 dollars on a pair of blades then buy a pair of park/all moutain skis right after that

if u dont know how to ski then instantly trying to do park may pose itself as a bit of a problem. id suggest not even getting a freestyle ski yet its easier to learn with rec skis, then after you learn the basics of skiing by a cheap nice pair of all mountain skis, then get park. as an early timer park ski id suggest afterbangs or something else playful like that

I mean, this logic makes sense and this is probably the best advice, butttt, I know some really good skiers who learned on park skis, and were hitting boxes and small rails after days of learning.

Some people are naturally talented, and park skis as a beginner ski wasn't a problem for them.
