Really strong psilocybin experience...

Good morning NS, Nothing like having a crazy weekend and coming on here for the first time to tell you guys all about it. I would like you guys to tell me in your opinion what the HELL happened to me after you read this story.

So, Friday was senior skip day at my local high school, and one of my buddies was having some people over at his house. I had bought some mushrooms the night before, and planned on taking them during the day at some point if the weather was nice. They were white with some black and orange on them, they were unlike any cap i've seen before in my whole life, yet the person who i got them from was a legit source. He told me and warned me that they were really serious mushrooms, but i am usually not one to be scared or back down to a trip. So.. I went to my buddies house where i got fed a bunch of champagne with OJ (first time drinking in over 2 months).

I guess i should have known that the combination of mushrooms and being drunk would not hang over too well. An half an hour or so after i left my friend tommys house i decided to eat the mushrooms up, probably a bad drunk decision. From there, some other freinds and I decided to take a blunt ride and go to a chill spot by the lake. This is went it when downhill for me.

Kids earlier in the day were talking about a "bad trip". I've got my numbers and i've got my true experience and i didnt think anything of this... Well... We make our way up to this picnic bench, when my stomach starts to turn. I know this is usually just from the aniexty of coming up on shrooms, but being drunk with it was not pretty.

All of the sudden, i started hearing ringing in my ears and i felt really nautious. I told myself it was all coming at once, and it was REALLY INTENSE. I lost my train of thought, i started to freak out and look at everyone in a weird way, and they could tell something was wrong. Alls i kept saying was "Help me, please help me". I threw up twice in a garbage can and then i put my head down. My freinds were telling me i was pale white and asking me if i was okay. I didnt even respond to them, or even acknowledge what they were saying. I put my head down and looked at my finger nails and they were turning bright purple and green. All of the sudden i put a little more effort into putting my head up, And EVERYTHING around me was bright crystal white. This was a fucking crazy hallucination.

Right when i thought it was over, i passed out. I woke up to my freinds yelling at me and alls i remember saying was how long was that for? I was unresponsive and unconcious for about 20-25 minutes with my eyes completely open, and i don't remember any of it. My face was all sweaty, i'll admit it i was a hot mess. My freinds told me that they were lifting me up and taking my pulse because they were scared for me, and i don't even recall of it? at all? Once i pulled myself back to reality, i had a beautiful day. But for that 20 minutes it was bad vibes that i never want to experience again.

Thoughts?

Yeah i ate things, and these mushrooms were out of this world. I've eaten them more than 5 times and this is easily the hardest i've tripped EVER.

Hey, retard boy. I've done my research not only within the internet but within experience, so shut your bitch ass up and don't post about something you have no "true" knowledge about. Mushrooms will not do anything to your liver unless you eat them multiple times, and even if that's the case it's hard for it to cause serious damage. Psilocybin is a fungus and it is COMPLETELY natural.
Therefore, your theory is inconclusive and has no relevance to anything on here. so GTFO.

it was almost certainly the alcohol.  if you haven't drank in 2 months you were probably pretty hammered and it sounds like this drinking occurred early in the day when you most likely hadn't eaten much yet.  alcohol before psychedelics seems to usually make people trip differently for people and it sounds like you just had a really quick come-up mixed with shrooms you've never tried before

How many times to I have to tell you mushrooms are a fungus, not a chemical drug. But hey man, thanks for your input even though it wasn't needed. I don't need people to tell me whats good and whats bad i know right from wrong, i'll see you on the other side my homie. It's mind over matter, remember to do what makes YOU happy, I could care less what anyone else thinks or has to say. Assuming just makes an ass out you and the person your assuming about.

As far as i'm concerned, I'm just as good and just as normal as everyone else is too.

i'd say a combination of boozing for the first time in a long time (very easy way to get too messed up/sick) and just a fast as shit comeup. i mean, if you had fun the rest of the time, i find it hard to believe that there was something wrong with what you took..

I don't mean to disregard what your saying my man, I'm just not to concerned within the effects of psilocybin. It's all around natural, and i feel absolutely nothing the day after. I'm not letting this escape my mind that it is bad for me, but If you don't believe in it from the start, it's not going to happen to you.

Just think of the Reality of the situation.

You ingest a couple mushroom caps, you have yourself a brutal, beautiful trip and then you face the reality of life.

1.) Work
2.) School
3.) Family
4.) Friends
5.) Love
6.) Responsibility


You don't have to continue with your argument. I'm sorry to say that i've heard this way to many times, and it does not change anything.

Did I once say that shrooms are good for you? I just don't believe that they harm you in a negative manner, believe what you want the corrupt governments, the DEAA, and the people in charge here in the United States have half of you brainwashed regardless.
Get some real experience under your belt and then come and talk to me. I don't notice any difference in my normal lifestyle now' a days.

How do i not sound to knowledgeable about tripping? To answer your question, yes i've dropped acid 6 times in the matter of a month. Not saying thats something to brag about, it's similar to a binge, but if you want to experience what this stuff does to you don't believe everything you read, find out for yourself.

As far as the orange on the caps, there was only a minimal amount on one of the caps, the rest were white, blue, and a little bit of black. To answer your last question, I ingested an eighth to the head.

well in your op you asked for our thoughts, but youve gotten noticeably defensive about not caring what other people think. now dont get me wrong, im all about dgaf-ing as hard as i can, but that sequence of evens is just kinda squirrelly to me

i admit, the video is a joke and seeing it in the animal thread the other day just brought back too many enjoyable planet earth memories

What do you think psilocybin is? Any drug that has psychoactive effects is a chemical.
I sure hope you didn't mean to say that you were tripping off the chitin, the fungal monomer tissue and not the highly hallucinogenic chemical that's found in it. The chitin is why mushrooms give stomach aches, because the pepsin in our stomachs have difficulty digesting it.

But really, if you made it into ginger tea your stomach wouldn't have had a hard time, because you wouldn't be ingesting the chitin fiber and ginger does wonders for upset stomachs. And you would've been okay drinking because alcohol generally relieves trip anxiety.

Lastly, if your idea of a bad trip is puking then passing out, maybe you should stop doing psychedelics.

Alright to answer your question, you ate an eighth of dank ass shrooms. I almost did the same, but i rethought and went with 2.57 grams to be exact. Needless to say i tripped utter face and it was easily the hardest ive ever tripped in my life. My friend who ate the same amount had an upset stomach for most of the time haah but he was tripping really hard also. And my friend who has eaten them on an empty stomach passed out in the middle of the road but not nearly for 20 minutes, only like 3. Im guessing it might have been the combination of having little food in your stomach, alcohol, and 3.5 grams of mushies.

You may be right about the chemicals but I can safely say i've experienced things with psychedelics that not many people can. I've tried to push my limits and make it to that self inertia you reach when you experience with these things, and I've realized a lot about myself, the environment around me, and the BLISS IGNORANCE of the people i surround myself with.

If a psychedelic doesn't cause you to make some kind of positive change to your life, you're doing it wrong. I see so many people take shrooms, acid, 2c-x, or whatever just to get messed up and see crazy shit without even considering that the drugs can be pretty powerful tools for altering your perception of the world in a positive manner (not to sound like a total hippy). And, not to make generalizations, but the people who do this tend to be young, inexperienced, and relatively uninformed about what they are putting into their bodies.

As far as safety and being "natural" goes.... Thanks largely in part to the DEA and our draconian approach to drugs in the United States, the impacts of all the substances are not well documented at all. Just because something is "natural" doesn't necessarily mean it won't have a negative impact on your body. I can make an hour drive from my house and dip a bucket in a sulfur cauldron, is that good to drink since it's naturally-occurring? Also, how you feel the next day has little bearing on the long-term effects of a substance.

That being said, I've been known to partake in illicit substances from time to time. However, I will readily admit that everything I know is not based on extensive or objective research, only on what I have observed and read about from sources that may or may not be entirely credible. But please, for the sake of looking semi-intelligent, don't go around preaching what you know about mushrooms (or whatever) based on second-hand information and what you've gathered from trying them a couple times. I don't want to see my friends turn into brain-dead lumps of flesh for 20 minutes, so hopefully you can learn from this and think things through a bit more in the future.

im going into law enforcenment so i cant even be around people smoking or anything. so i often have to leave parties the minute i show up, but not without letting everyone know that drugs are bad m'kay. the look on people's faces are honestly hilarious (i tell them in full seriousness)

All I'm saying is that puking, then passing out, then being okay after 20 minutes isn't much of a "bad trip." I won't go into my experiences; and I'm not doubting you, it's just that you didn't really say anything to indicate otherwise, instead you just went on some abstract nonsense tangent...

But really, the guy I saw puke his guts out then roll into a river and drown was probably having a so-called "bad trip."

wow. thats sad to hear you like to do these things regardless of how bad they are to you. I guess ignorance is bliss. I've never done shrooms and probably never will so I cant speak from experience but from what some people are saying and from what I've read online and in books, they arent good for you. Sure its fun now but at some point you'll need to think about your life down the road. Its not always about there here and now...

Good rule to remember. If you're doing drugs, and you feel sick, allow yourself to puke. A lot of times you'll feel much better after. You might have puked up a couple mushies but would still be tripping, but probably feel better.


IF you're feeling sick while tripping, it can make a trip go really bad. I swallowed some print once after I was already really spun. IT started to fuck with my stomach and fuck with my trip. Ended up puking all over by our easy up for like 5 minutes but then i drank some water and felt soooo much better and went back to the music.


With what you were saying I've had that happen only once. I think it was doing to many things throughout the weekend all day all night, not sleeping at all, and only eating maybe a hotdog the whole weekend. My body shut down in the middle of a ridiculously intense trip. I don't even remember dropping. I just came back to my friend slapping me and yelling, then i guess i went right back out. Woke up to some guy trying to wake me up dragging me out of the crowd. Got out of the crowd and started power walking for my camp, my buddy riding the back of the med staff golf cart came flying up with everyone. Unfortunately they were dumb ignorant and literally were no help, so i told them to fuck off and went back to the site. I drank water and just rode it out, a few friends skipped the last 2 sets of the weekend to make sure I was alright. Felt kind of bad after everything though. I'm sure me getting fucked up fucked with their trips a little bit as well.


Glad you're alright though.

Dude, relax. You had a bad experience. I had one of those too. You just gotta respect the mushroom and psychedelics in general. I don't drink either and I had a bad trip on shrooms after just tripping too long (eating them throughout the night tripping well into the morning/afternoon), no other extenuating circumstances. You're coming off as being very anxious. I would recommend going sober, 100% (no weed no prescriptions unless absolutely necessary) for at least a week. I thought I'd gone off the deep end permanently but I'm ok now.

You'll be fine and I'm sure you learned a bit about yourself and how you work with drugs.
