Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 FOR SALE

Thats right. I'm selling my Tokina 11-16. Nikon mount, btw. I've had it for a little over a year. Had a UV lens on it ever since the day I bought it. The lens is an amazing lens, to say the least. Great colors, good AF, excellent contrast, clearity, and sharpness. Puts out pretty cool sun flares, as well.
Im looking for around $550 or so for this. 9.5/10 condition. No scratches of any kind anywhere on lens.

Damn you Canon users!

If you buy the adapter, this lens is still a great lens w/o AF. At 11mm, the angle is so wide that the depth of field really is pretty minimal. I mean it really isn't that hard to rotate the focus ring 1/3 of a turn, right?

Also, I'd like to add that the AF mechanism is awesome. It has a clutch ring, so there's no fumbling around for a switch or anything.
Buy up!

Autofocus isn't a necessity, and if you're shooting video, its a non-issue. This is a great price for a lens that puts Canon wides to shame.

I would only use an adapter on a lens that had an aperture ring on it..

So you can control the aperture. I know 2.8 on this wide of a lens doesn't really mean a whole lot regarding the dof, but I assume a Canon would like to stop down the lens at some point.

I only have Nikon lenses but if its anything like those then the aperture control is not electrical, its just a little metal tab that sticks out at the bottom and moves ~1cm up and down. I'm not sure how an adapter could control that but I bet one exists.
