And today I just got this rush, and panic attack....

7 months until I ski again. It has been a month now, and I'm hurting hard. Ever since I started on NS, being a part of such a tight community has been so sick, and my need to be out on the slopes has really intensified.

Anyone else done their season/planning for next year/missing the snow?

Ehh, that panic attack has been hurtin too. The feeling that you can't go out and ski whenever. I'm going to MHSSC this summer and plan on a building a summer setup.

yeah my home mountain closed this past weekend and im so bummed. It's like an hour hike for a few runs off the top. sigh...... im going to tucks again though. like this weekend or next weekend. also I would ski at jay peak but I got no ride. but other than that i'm done..

It was my first season skiing (I had boarded up until this year)

At first at the end of the season, I thought, well, at least my feet won't hurt anymore! (Switching snowboard to ski boots sucks)

Now, I don't care if my feet hurt, I miss it. I learned how to slide a box this year, on my first day skiing park ever. It was the best feeling ever.

I can't wait till next winter, I wanna progress!



But I am going to Tuckerman's soon, but I'll prolly board there because 5 days of skiing this winter really isn't enough to get me prepared for Tuck's haha

I spent six hours yesterday watching ski movies after school. Today I tuned both my skis, tomorrow I'm going to buy some tall t's. Friday I'm watching more ski movies. Saturday I'm working then going to do tramp at a friends house. Sunday I'm starting to build my summer set up. Summer sucks.

yeah i hate when im watching a sick edit and it gets me really pumped and then i can't go skiing.
havnt even hit up a rail session yet this season, but its my first summer with a trampoline and it helps quite a bit.

ya it sucks man but im gonna trampoline so hard that the whole thing collapses. also i just found out the other day you can ride the rails going into pools, 27vs out like thers no tommorrow.

Last week of skiing I was ready for summer thinking it be nice to not keep makin my self go up and have a blast every weekend and just to take it easy and let my sHinson heal but a week goes by I'm addicted To ski videos and I jus put my boots on every now and then jus remembering and relizing it's not even summer yet

Solution:

Step 1: Road trip to hood

Step 2: Camp at airstrip for free

Step 3: Buy ticket to timberline (or clip from racers coming off hill if you are feeling dangerous)

Step 4: SKI!

the new zealand season (where im from) is wayyy shorter than the american season, it sucks, i've spent NINE MONTHS waiting for winter over the summer, and im getting pretty excited seeing as today its excatly, one month until the mountains open and i can ski!!!!!!

pretty much the same here in Aus, as soon as it gets colder (and people start complaining about it being below 20 degrees in the cities) snow minded people start getting a buzz. Time to rip out those Level 1 and PBP dvd's over the next month or so

bahaha, panic attack from not skiing? either harden the fuck up or pick up a summer hobby. i mean you cannot be serious. if you loved skiing that much you'd find a way to ski year round, which is possible for anyone if you truly loved it to the point of having trouble functioning without it. yes you may be a skier, but i think you're just a bigger pussy... or a liar... or both.
