If you need to be double bounced in order to do a trick, it doesn't count in my eyes. Unless you are doing something batshit crazy (like there was one kid doing triple backs and fronts).

Because it takes much more skill to do a trick on your own buddy. It's like using an airbag, sure you may be able to do a bunch of tricks into it, but bring it to snow and claim it. It's a tool used for learning, but don't count it until you do it on snow in this example, and don't count it until you do it without a double bounce.

what the hell are you talking about? double bouncing is harder, scarier, and sends you higher..your airbag analogy makes no fucking sense. if you insist on making an analogy, it'd be like doing a trick on a bigger, scarier jump.. you're fucking high!

I think he meant more along the lines of he's amazed the kid can't bounce high enough to cork 9 on his own. I'm not really sure why this kid is learning new tricks with a double bounce (seeing as how you are in less control), but to each their own. It would be much easier to strengthen/learn to throw it on your own bounce.

you are a dumbass, a double bounce gets you maybe a foot higher and makes your rotation harder to do i think. and i doubt you know someone who can tripple back/front flip on a trampoline going as high as this kid.

MangoFred: I don't care if it looks better with a double bounce, I have nothing against it. But if you can't do a simple trick such as a cork 9 without a double bounce then you can't do one. I feel much more accomplished when I do a hard trick on my own without a double bounce. It means I worked up to it and I am progressing. It is much more impressive to see something done on your own than with a double bounce. And in the op's video, he was jumping high then when he did the cork 9 he wasn't anywhere as high as he was when he wasted 5 bounces.

DHh8tr: If you have a crappy trampoline, get some muscles and jump higher. We have all been on a shitty tramp and made it work.

but show me an edit of a triple without a double bounce. Don't say its only a legit triple if someone does it on their own, its simply not possible to triple without a legit gymnastics trampoline. But still cork 9 with double bounce... not exactly threadworthy

He's saying that legit tricks, like a triple, need double bouncing which is true- he never implied that you should have to do a triple without a double bounce seeing as how its basically impossible. Tricks like a cork 9 do not need double bouncing. Big tricks like triples have to have double bouncing, tricks like a cork 9 should not need it. Bueno?

Yeah this isn't worthy of a 2 page thread. I just wanted for someone to tell me if this was legit or not. I'm fifteen and that was my little brother in the video, he's fourteen, were both in highschool. On the double bouncing if you ask me it only counts if it's on a shitty trampoline like the one in the video, because you get probably more air and it's easier to spin on a gymnastics trampoline and nobody says thats fake.
