Cod 4 the best hands down. it began the multiplayer shooter revolution! every shooter game after cod 4 tried to be cod 4. all though i must say that MW2 was pretty sick too.
infinity ward/ activision > treyarch

anybody play hardcore headquarters on CoD4 ps3 lately? all the lobbies are hacked(none of that gay shit like unlimited ammo), and I have to say, it is quite fun to play in a sniper lobby/promod etc..

COD 4 was the best, then it went downhill.
I wish they didn't release a new one every single year, instead they should build up on one.
As in adding more guns, maps and other features. I don't think they'll ever do that as they are already making ridiculous amounts of profit by releasing mediocre games every year.
Don't get me wrong, COD is great I just hope that the quality doesn't go down to absolute garbage.
