I was going to the community center  and I ran over 3 raccoons. 2 babies and a mom. I felt so bad they look like little robbers

My mom hit a baby bear with her car late at night with my grandpa in the car, and after they hit it and stopped, my grandpa opened the door to make sure it was ok. While my mom was freaking out because he had opened the door with a bear outside, it ran off.

it's hard for me to feel bad for an animal that runs out in front of a speeding vehicle, that being said if i were to hit somone's dog i would not be in a good place

For some reason me and my friends have the WORST luck with those fuckers. Hit them ALL THE DAMN TIME. It's much worse when you can feel it under your ski/boot rather than under your car...

One time we were driving on a highway in costa rica when a dog ran out in front of the car in front of us. The driver of that car didnt even try to avoid it. he had at least 75 yards of seeing this dog and had the chance to avoid it, so i guess he just didnt care. The dog flew up about 20 feet in the air and then landed on the side of the road. It was really sad :(

almost got a free bear once
I was driving up hw6 saw a big furry lump in the shoulder, doubled back around, turned out to be a black bear, not too big but in pretty good shape, no guts blown out or anything, face was fine. As I was loading it into the trunk of my 94 honda accord lx, which was pretty hard to do by the way, it was really heavy. SOme guy in a jeep stopped and started yelling at me about calling the cops, I really didn't want to fuck around with the popo at the time so I said fuck it. He probably just took it for himself.

something similar happened to me, a car passed me and a german sheperd looking dog ran out. it was too late, they pulled over and stopped. i would hate myself if it happened to me

I was driving the other night and thought i ran over a frog. Then i realized it was March and there are no frogs out and it was just a leaf.. One time when i was 10, I shot a bird with a bb gun. It died and i cried for like an hour.(rhyme)

Hit a black bear before, but i managed to slow down enough so i kind of pushed it across the road and into a ditch. Don't know if it died or not, but it was certainly fucked up.

Ive hit a Squirrel, cow, fox, deer, raccoon, owl, pheasant, dove, dog, cat, porcupine, baby deer and chicken. Most much more than once.

This wasn't me but my mom. She was driving back from tahoe up to oregon a couple years ago, and we used to have an old subaru with a box on the top. So she was driving along and all of a sudden heard a big like thump on the roof so she pulls over, and a fucking eagle had flown right into the car, between the roof of the car and the carry pod on top. So she had an eagle wedged between the car and the pod, and this fucker was still alive so she had to wait for it to die =[ until she could pull it out. sad day

my neighborhood is full of rabbits. I was riding my motorcycle home one night when one decided to dart between my wheels. it felt like I had hit a speed bump with my rear wheel only, and this was when I didn't have a rear fender, so I basically had a bloody rooster tail up my back. I tried to find a picture, but realized it was on my old computer, so now I'm kind of bummed.

my friend in high school though, turned a corner and ran into two dogs playing in the street, with two kids who owned the dogs watching. he kept finding tufts of fur in his bumper and other parts of the car for weeks, and had nightmares of the kids crying for a while after. super sad.

my mom was doing about 60 mph with me and 3 other friends in the car, a deer runs out of the woods and that fucker got obliterated by our 4runner, we didn't even stop because we knew chunks of its body were raining down like confetti behind us. i was kinda glad to hit it though, 1 less dead deer= 1 less deer i could hit.

ANOTHER cool story- i was skiing at breck close to the t-bar and i came around a tree and a fox ran like 5 feet from me, i scared the shit out of it and it scared the shit of of me

am I the only person here who's eaten roadkill? my dad's friend clipped a deer in the head driving along, put the effer in the trunk and took it home. it made for some damn fine sausages. on 2 occasions now grouse have flown into a window of our house and I've eaten them.

ski story, last Tuesday at the ski hill someone hit a bird while skiing. feathers everywhere. the person just chucked it on the side of the run.
