I think you should worry about you instead of worrying about everyone else.
You'd probably be a lot happier if insignificant 5hit like that bothers you
So I went to visit my home mountain, Okemo, over Christmas break, and found out they implemented a park pass system. The way it works is you take a simple test that anyone with any sort of basic knowledge of park etiquette should pass first try, and you get your pass. They have one of the park crew standing at the top of the big park checking passes. Since my friends and I lapped through so many times, we really only had to show our passes once, so it didn't slow down our park laps at all. For anyone that doesn't know, Okemo labels itself as a family mountain and prides it self on catering to weekend warriors and families on vacation. With the park pass system in place, the park was way less crowded than I've seen before, and it seemed like people rolling through who clearly weren't park skiers had a better idea of how to be safe in the park. In the smaller park, you still had plenty of little kids and gapers all over the place, but that's what that park is for.
sparknote: Park passes. I'm for 'em.
