watching it on TV and they briefly talk about the new skiers who "imitate snowboarders" or something along those lines and there are a couple kids near a down rail and you can clearly see "NS" on one of their helmets...
haha i thought it was pretty dope, anyways yea this movie is pretty sick
i've heard about that yea.. i don't understand and it doesn't bother me. skiing is skiing. Obviously i'm not a huge warren miller fan but I enjoy watching any type of skiing... especialy when I don't get to go out to the mountain
It has less to do with that and more to do with them suing level 1 productions basically prompting a boycott. That being said, you provide further evidence to the effect that such outrage has a short memory - after all, everyone watches MSP flicks again now.
same here. only movie premiere thats near me and i was the only kid there that looked like a freeskier. whole herds of gapers and snowboarders and a bunch of people who i dont think even skied. they dont hand out enough free swag either
I too would like to know about the MSP legal issues or whatever it was. did it have to do with the wingsuit thing and them not having the rights to it?
jumping to conclusions is fun, I doubt that's it but that's the only thing I can think of
Warren Miller appeared in MSP's movie yearbook. After his tweaked out cork nine and a few gang signs he told the camera that he like MSP more than WME. WME flipped out and tried firing him from the company, Warren Miller told them, "fuck bitches, get money." and the situation was dropped immediately.
don't remember all the details, but it was about Steve Winter leaving Berman a message about MSP taking Level 1's shots of Rainville or asking them to not put some athlete in the movie as sponsors don't want it (if I remember correctly) and that they had a right to do so as they wanted the best for the athlete. I'll check it out when I get home today.
It's a hidden extra on either High Five or Shanghai Six.
