Hey guys,

I am an artist and a skier who has had a privilege to experience the magnificent country of Japan and its infamous Niseko powder. I fell in love with the country and the people. In effort to help out the citizens of Japan, I setup a donation page where you can purchase a poster I designed. It was inspired by a vacation to Niseko that I went on just a couple months ago.

I will be donating 100% of the profits to Japanse Red Cross Society. I setup 3 different payment amounts: $25, $35 & $45. It does not matter which one you pick, I will be donating 100% of the profits regardless.

well i tried to get my mom to let me donate, but she thinks its fake. maybe i can get one of those prepaid credit cards from the grocery store to donate with, but im grounded so idk if i can do that. if it doesnt work, il just donate to the red cross or something she thinks is real. i do really want the poster though

They should start showing up in the next 2-3 weeks. I chose the cheapest shipping option, so it might take some time.

This is probably one of the dumbest things I have read. No shit, but if nobody donates they aren't going to get anywhere. It all adds up... Oh, and $2000 is a pretty big donation in my book

it's a fact. it's 100% true. its not "dumb". I never stated that 2000 was a small amount. maybe i think a millionth of a percent is a good donation.

btw 'dumb' means the inability to speak. So technically any statement is "dumb" because a statement is inanimate and therefore does not possess the ability to speak. SOOOOOOOOOOOO check yourself before you wreck yourself.

Thanks everyone who supported the cause! All posters have been shipped and should be arriving within 2-3 weeks from April 5th at the latest.

I was able to sell all 94 posters that I had in stock!

After shipping and printing costs,
final donation amount to the Canadian Red Cross:
$1,370CAD

I guess I should have chosen a better word... 'pessimistic.' Your post pretty much said that ivan's efforts were useless. And I was just offended by your post because I fully support what ivan's doing.

Anyways, on another note, nice total. It's going to help a lot of people in need

Ivan how come you didn't tell me you were doing this.. wish I'd checked threads earlier. I'm broke but my mom would probably love to get some of your posters, she always has liked your art. Amazing idea though! Good work =)

To everyone who questioned whether Ivan is legit - good for you for thinking protectively, but he is as legit as they come. One of the coolest people I know, and I don't say that lightly! Also one of my favourite artists. Although, I guess it could go in a vicious circle where my own legitimacy is questioned.... I like to think I'm fairly harmless =D
