K2/Marker Hate

Broke one of the heel "clips" (holds heel piece to slide) on my griffons. Cool.

This was in january, I just got my skis back today. Sent them to marker, got sent back STILL BROKEN, sent to k2 nothing again, take them to different shop and they now are fixed. Thats 3 months of arguing with k2 about them fixing them as opposed to waiting until next season to give me a new pair.

EXCEPT THOSE PEOPLE (to put it nicely) AT K2 PUT A 110 BRAKE ON THE BINDING THAT WAS FIXED.

Why they did this I cannot understand because the brake wasn't attached to the heel piece when they were sent out. Those idiots consciously took the brake out of the box and put a different one on.

I will never buy a K2 product again or Marker for that matter.

INB4 cool story and all that
I just feel like people need to know about the mindlessness of these people.

end rant.

If you work for K2 send me a 100 mm brake.

Wait did you send your skis to K2 to fix a marker binding? I don't understand.

just to clarify, because I bought the kung fujas marker schizo combo deal, marker basically said we are not going to fix this because its not mounted on a volkl ski, send them to K2. but thats just cause its was a package deal you know?

Ok, maybe thats why K2 screwed up. They don't know jack shit about bindings? It seems like a pretty stupid mistake to make though. If I were you I would just go to a ski shop and get the binding fixed for 15$ and get it done right.

just picked them up from the shop I bought em at. they did nothing/have no brakes for me.

and 100mm marker brakes are $49 plus tax. not interested in paying for K2's mistake.

Shit dude that sucks. I got the brakes on my suspects replaced for free by my ski shop, even after the warranty expired.

wow that really sucks. while i think k2 makes good stuff (dont have alot of experience withmarker), i think i can agree with you that their customer support is not so great. ive had trouble with them in the past too

why the fuck did you send it to k2 and marker? breaks just dont break (no pun intended). take them to your local shop and they will fix them for you in 10 minutes and charge you max $15.

My marker bindings fucking sucked, broke a shit ton of times in a season. Do not recommend them, except maybe for the griffins or whatever they are called

gotta read the OP my man, I then them in for a broken heel piece. got sent back with magically different brakes. brakes were not broken, in the process of putting a new heel piece in they changed them, for no reason.
