Age to work in a ski shop?

I meant to get a job last summer but i never got around to it. The funds are running a bit low and its time for a new setup so i figured i would get a job. I want to work in a ski shop so i can get discounts and i acctualy know about what i am selling. My question is how old would i have to be for the shops to hire me as a cashier sales rep type position. I would be working afterschool if that mattered. No previous expreience. Oh and it would be mostly in the off season like late march till late august

Depends on the store i think average age to work in retail is 16 in Canada. but you need to know every single piece of equipment inside and out in your store. How old are you?

If you're mature and are serious about it then you could be as young as 16, maybe even 15, depends on the ski shop really, if they feel you're knowledgable about skiing and products, but it all depends on the owners really

I would say 16 years old. But im not sure anyone is going to hire you for a cashiers position at a ski shop in the summer. Ski shops are not busy this time of the year and are most likly cutting down on staff not hiring. Unless you apply at like a ski and golf store or something. Good luck bro

I was offered a job at a ski shop when i was twelve solely based off of my knowledge of the park skis back then although i couldn't take it because it was too far away from home.

So, the age at which you know your shit.
